Return to Ireland?

[edit]

I just updated the article with his death today. The video clip here [1] includes an interview (starting at 1:02), which seems to imply that the family returned to live in Ireland while the children were still young. But this contradicts both our article and the accompanying text on the RTE page. Any thoughts? jxm (talk) 15:35, 27 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Tiede HerremaKidnapping of Tiede HerremaWP:BLP1E, Herrema is known only for the IRA kidnapping in 1975. The kidnapping itself is notable (as per the AfD from 2009), however there is very little coverage of him apart from that- even obituaries focus on him as the kidnapping victim rather than giving long details on his life, [2], [3], [4]. Similar to how now-GA Dora Bloch was moved to Murder of Dora Bloch, because the event is the notable thing. Other article name suggestions welcomed. I agree, he was only notable for the kidnapping, and Kidnapping of Tiede Herrema is a better name.--A bit iffy (talk) 00:43, 30 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
