Fair use rationale for Image:Mirage jocks.jpg

[edit]

Image:Mirage jocks.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:09, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unsourced statements

[edit]

The statements about the accusations of rape and the suicide really need to be sourced. — Coren (talk) 03:15, 28 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Have moved page from Tim Barnett (porn star) to here

[edit]

This deceased pornographic film actor had left the porn industry for years, was working in other fields and had been arrested and charged with serial rapes, and then committed suicide. This makes him more notable under his birth name than it does under his stage names. Discuss or move if disagree. Discuss first preferable. fr33kman (talk) 21:09, 2 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Agree with the move, as my edits probably make clear. But I think the Tim Barnett (porn star) talk page noted 2 AfD's the article had survived. If it did, that one should be noted on this talk page too. If it didn't, my memory is failing (a distinct possibility). I've reviewed the history of this talk page. I guess my memory was wrong. Sadly, not the 1st time, nor likely the last. David in DC (talk) 03:26, 3 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I don't recall the talk page containing any WP:AfD survivals. If you are sure that they did, then we should have an admin look into it? Should we? fr33kman (talk) 21:14, 4 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I was wrong. What I was remembering was this failed speedy delete proposal. David in DC (talk) 22:25, 4 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
NP, happens to me daily! :-) fr33kman (talk) 23:53, 4 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I've removed the connections to gay porn performer Tim Barnett, since they had been tagged for over a year and none of the sources explicitly made the link. Perhaps someone can find a reliable source for this, but I did not. Thanks. Delicious carbuncle (talk) 16:28, 28 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
