Page moving
[edit]This page is a sub-article of the main page "2021 Israel-Palestine crisis", but name of the article was "Timline of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, 2021". I think it's uacceptable. So, moved the page into new name "Timeline of the 2021 Israel-Palestine crisis" (according to the main article). Wiki N Islam (talk) 17:47, 15 May 2021 (UTC)
- @Wiki N Islam: No, this article's scope is broader than the current escalation. It's not a sub-article of 2021 Israel–Palestine crisis, but a part of series of articles in {{Timeline of the Israeli–Palestinian conflict}}. --Triggerhippie4 (talk) 19:54, 15 May 2021 (UTC)
Mass move request for timelines of the Israeli–Palestinian conflict
[edit]I proposed to rename pages from "Timeline of the Israeli–Palestinian conflict, YYYY" to "YYYY in the Israeli–Palestinian conflict". Discussion is at Talk:Timeline of the Israeli–Palestinian conflict, 2020#Requested move 15 May 2021. --Triggerhippie4 (talk) 21:46, 15 May 2021 (UTC)
WP:NPOV
[edit]Seeing how unhappy a lot of readers have been with the prose, I think we should have some NPOV cleanup of the article. FlalfTalk 18:35, 17 May 2021 (UTC)

May 13; "8 victims were confirmed from the May 12 rocket attacks from Hamas, the youngest being 5 years old."
But the source says 7 victims. And as per MOS:NUMERAL, change to
"Seven victims were confirmed from the May 12 rocket attacks from Hamas, the youngest being five years old."

- Partly done: The source gives eight victims, but I did write out the numbers.

request to re-add removed text
[edit]the following text was removed from may 15th entry in this revision https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=2021_in_the_Israeli%E2%80%93Palestinian_conflict&diff=next&oldid=1023813802
I believe it was by mistake? anyway, it described an event that occurred on that day
An Israeli man was killed after a barrage of rocket fire targeted Tel Aviv and central Israel. Buildings and infrastructure has been damaged in several cities in central Israel.[1]

edit request on 21 May 2021 regarding the May 7th section
[edit]Regarding the May 7th entry that reads, "After the evening prayers, some Palestinian worshippers began throwing previously stockpiled rocks and other objects at Israeli police officers. Police officers fired stun grenades into the mosque compound, and into a field clinic.[6][7][8]" However, none of these sources listed state they were "previously stockpiled" or stockpiled at all. This implication should be removed. Source 8 (Associated Press)[1] actually notes that chairs and shoes were also thrown. I hope I have done this edit request correctly as it is my first one.Geowishes (talk) 17:33, 21 May 2021 (UTC)
There are many sources for the stockpiling. Here is one. https://www.timesofisrael.com/israel-palestinians-stockpiling-rocks-inside-al-aqsa-mosque/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by Posef770 (talk • contribs) 15:50, 3 June 2021 (UTC)

Request to add to the April section
[edit]Israeli security officials warn mid-April that they will "ultimately have to force their way into al-Aqsa mosque ... because hundreds of young Palestinian men are now routinely stockpiling large quantities of rocks and slabs of stone there to attack security forces."
