British English

[edit]

Regarding the redlink category 1882 murders in Europe. Please do not revert edits when they are at least partly correct, and the rest is up for discussion. (1) 1882 was wrong. The crime was committed in 1881. (2) In British English, Europe is taken to mean the mainland or continent.Wordnet There has been some ambiguity since the UK joined the European Union in 1973, but this is a historical article about the 1880s. • I have adjusted the categories (to crimes instead of murder) in accordance with the manslaughter verdict, premeditated murder being unproven. MilborneOne please do not swear at me; I find your language offensive. Thank you. Storye book (talk) 13:29, 17 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
