Adjam Street

[edit]

This street has not been cleaned by the Regional Corporation since the General Election and the councillor cannot be seen around the area. The streets all around are well taken off and the residents are the ones to cut the grass or clean the road and drains. There is another concern with the residents letting their dogs out to do their numbers on the road and they will also burst the garbage bags and make a mess- the garbage truck passes at around 4.30- 5.00 am.

Because of the numerous young persons walking the street I am asking for two humps to be placed on the street so as to curb the speed at which some of us drive. Can there be some police patrol in this area so as to curtail the smoking of illegal drugs and the reduction of strangers in this 'quiet area'?

There is another issue of the 'Toilet Tank' which is located at the corner of Huggins and Gittens Streets which is non functional and the whole area STINKS on a daily basis and no one seems to care; kindly do something??

We will like the Chairperson to use her office to assist us in this regard as we are in dire need for help.

regards,

the citizens
