[edit]This page is in the process of being Wikified to match the layout of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier articles. I am also adding official US Navy and US Coast Guard information. Thanks for your patience while I add this content, and if you have any comments or suggestion please leave them here! Maxarre 18:54, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
Armament?
[edit]The plastic model indicates at least one forward gun turret with two tubes, yet article doesn't mention any.120.18.56.147 (talk) 23:03, 6 July 2010 (UTC)
- The model is not the Burton Island, which was completed with a single 5". It's either the Eastwind prior to 1951, or more likely, the Northwind, which retained twin mount until at least 1964.
- In the past the model was sold as USCG, with a white hull and brown decks. Why the change in service and color?Sammy D III (talk) 12:43, 15 January 2013 (UTC)
