I believe the page should move as Vidya (knoledge) to vidyā (Buddhism) ; Cidya udapadi or as the opposition of AvidyāS.B.M. Summon 14:57, 6 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed merge

[edit]

There seems to be no difference between these two topics: Vidyā and Vidya (Knowledge). The former is an unsourced article: it should be merged with this one, and the resulting page should be located at Vidya or Vidyā. utcursch | talk 19:22, 3 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I went through with the merge, although I redirected Vidyā to Vidya (disambiguation) instead. I don't know enough about the related pages to know which page should be moved to Vidya, this page or the dab page. -Apocheir (talk) 00:34, 26 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Merge from Pañcavidyā (Implemented)

[edit]

Pañcavidyā seems like a redundant fork that would be better merged into Vidya (philosophy)#In Buddhism. The former has been a neglected stub for years & the latter is an underdeveloped section that could use use some expansion. Therefore, I suggest the former be merged into the latter. This would follow the precedent of the section for Hinduism, which lists a comparable but different list of four vidyas. Scyrme (talk) 22:59, 19 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
