Huh? (From the Old Tyranid Warriors Page)[edit]

Please explain. V. Joe 23:37, 7 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A species of Tyranid from the Warhammer 40,000 universe. Cheers --Pak21 11:07, 9 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Sorry I have been away for so long. Pak, could you inform me of why there are separate pages on specific units of the Tyranids? When was this decided and why? I mean, I do prefer (personally) smaller pages as opposed to single enourmous ones, but isn't this a bit extreme on the detail side? Colonel Marksman 01:21, 14 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
    • *shrug* They were written. I think the different Tyranid species are notable within the Warhammer 40,000 universe, and as Wikipedia is not a paper encyclopedia I don't see any harm in them being around. Cheers --Pak21 19:09, 14 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There are 2 things I heavily disagree with, and I will give them with the explaination:

1. Incredibly long pages. These discourage the reader and makes organization and maintance difficult. Information is usually detailed or someone is forgetting this is an encylopedia, not a dumping ground for information.

2. A swarming mass of pages on one topic. This makes maintance even harder. There are several pages that stretch the lengths of the topic and make finding/reading information a special skill of manouvering.

Firstly, we can't forget that the Tyranids Page is a sub-page in itself (to the Warhammer 40,000). Treating the Tyranids Page as a main page will only create unnecessary amounts of lengths and detail. Colonel Marksman 21:38, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Any Suggestions for the Page[edit]

Comments, suggestions, etc. How is the organization? I will make a page for the Gaunt Genus next. Those are the two main Genus according to the 4th Edition Codex.

I think there's a lack of info on Lictors; the Warrior, Carnifex, and Ravener sections each have at least 3 DETAILED paragraphs with information about the subspecies, but the Lictor section has only 4 sentences and not much detail. Groundlord (talk) 16:42, 11 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
