Wiktionary Tag[edit]

I removed the tag. There are a plethora of glossaries in Wiki and this one is no different to any of them. Have a look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Glossaries. If you want this one moved, then they all must go too. SilentC 05:39, 10 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Also, read this SilentC 05:58, 10 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Just to make it clear, what SilentC refers to is this sentence: Wikipedia also includes glossary pages for various specialized fields. Luigizanasi 07:08, 10 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
That sentence predates the creation of Wiktionary:Appendices. Now that Wiktionary has a better mechanism which allows for keeping related terms listed on a single page, this and the vast majority of the other glossaries ought to be moved over. Wiktionary editors have better tools and resources to maintain dictionary definitions. Rossami (talk) 06:20, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
You're assuming that wikipedia editors have the time and inclination to contribute to your Wiktionary pet project. I don't. If you want to maintain and expand the woodworking glossary in Wiktionary, be my guest. Luigizanasi 06:45, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
