824th Tank Destroyer Battalion

[edit]

An M18 Hellcat of the battalion engaging snipers, 1 April 1945

  • Article new enough, look enough fully cited. QPQ done. Hook is probably true, but not explicitly supported by the reference. Hawkeye7 (talk) 20:59, 5 April 2013 (UTC)
Fair point - I did wonder about this one. It's not explicitly stated but it's easily verified by inference (it's the only time it's mentioned), and I'm honestly not sure why they didn't mention it in so many words - it's an interesting oddity. I'll see if I can think of an alternative if you're not comfortable with passing it. Andrew Gray (talk) 22:22, 5 April 2013 (UTC)
If you can suggest an ALT hook, that would be great. Hawkeye7 (talk) 00:34, 6 April 2013 (UTC)
Whoops - forgot about this entirely. Probably too late now, but added one... Andrew Gray (talk) 13:18, 14 April 2013 (UTC)
AGF on offline source. I trimmed the hook to bring it down below 200 characters Good to go now. Hawkeye7 (talk) 20:28, 14 April 2013 (UTC)
