  1. I would want to insert the word "is" before honored: "...that Indian activist S. Dharmambal is honoured as heroic Tamil mother for her contributions to Tamil language?"
  2. Although the statement itself is sufficiently-cited, the article does not make clear what her contributions to the Tamil language are. I infer from the article that what is meant by her "contributions to the language" is that she was a proponent of Tamil-language education. I think that both the article and the DYK nomination would be stronger if that is spelled out more clearly, perhaps in the lead paragraph of the article.
  3. Only the first initial is given. Do we know her name?
  • Summary: The hook itself is very interesting and I would strongly support the nomination if the connection between her work and its summary were a bit clearer.

The second reference,erode memorial does not match any of the key words such as names and "devadasi". Other English language cites seem to check out. Long enough. It's new. I don't see QPQ but someone above has posted claiming they nominated the QPQ article. Adjusted hook (+"is") seems okay. I have gone and changed the second reference to one that passes the text, now it passes. ~ R.T.G 14:50, 18 February 2019 (UTC)

Flibirigit, bad review. Check my edits (and the edit-sums) from history. A lot of stuff is now, un-sourced.

While the article is still long enough, the Early life section now has no source citations at all, which is contrary to DYK guidelines. Some additional work will need to be done. BlueMoonset (talk) 22:46, 23 February 2019 (UTC)

  • I edited the article to conform with English grammar. However, the Activities section is using many foreign words and terms that make no sense to a non-Tamil reader. Could you define or explain these names and other terms? Yoninah (talk) 19:19, 7 March 2019 (UTC)

Thank you, we're all set. I added an infobox. I suggest writing the hook in the past tense, as the award was given over 60 years ago.
