Reopening the nomination

[edit]

@Cwmhiraeth and BlueMoonset: The article is at the edge passing the GA nomination. For confirmation look at Talk:INS Vikrant (R11)/GA1. PLease let me know whether to reopen the nomination or create a new page, and also the procedure for the same. Regards, Krishna Chaitanya Velaga (talk • mail) 04:00, 28 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Unless BlueMoonset wants to contradict me, I should suggest you start a new page with a slightly different title to the original one, such as omitting the (R11), or adding "2". Then you will be able to proceed in the normal way without the original template causing complications. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:06, 28 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Cwmhiraeth: I think it is not advisable to drop (R11) because just INS Vikrant is a disambiguation, as Indian Navy has another aircraft carrier with the same name. May be we should try {{Did you know nominations/INS Vikrant (R11)/2}}, as it for GANs. Regards, Krishna Chaitanya Velaga (talk • mail) 06:16, 28 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I think your suggestion will be fine. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:19, 28 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, Krishna Chaitanya Velaga, I strongly urge against using the slash ("/") character as a differentiator in creating the new name; slashes sometimes cause problems with DYKs. (The GA bots and templates and coded differently.) Just add a space and a "2". Thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 06:33, 28 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@BlueMoonset and Cwmhiraeth: Thanks for the suggestions both of you. Will take care of that. Regards, Krishna Chaitanya Velaga (talk • mail) 06:37, 28 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
