This is ridiculous.[edit]

If someone is really out to put malicious code in EICAR test file, they will simply remove a reference to this template. Besides, the risk is pretty low. To make something really nasty, the attacker would have to noticeably inflate the file, or use unprintable characters, both of which would (hopefully) raise suspicion when the edit were patrolled. And last but not least, if there is a reference - it should be put into the actual article, not hidden in an obscure template. Ian (213.241.124.43 (talk) 10:17, 21 September 2011 (UTC))[reply]
