Hello I've updated all instances of NIRF 2020/2021 and those should be removed from the already very long list. I don't have the necessary experience to edit the sandbox or I would have done it.

Times and QS have already updated their rankings to 2024 which should be included(QS is already in the sandbox I can see)

India Today no longer uses the current link it now uses this

Thank you NotPixel, you did an awesome job. Too bad you didn't {{ping}} me or left me a message or I would have tried to update the template earlier, as my health allows. For now I cleaned up the older options and I will add NIRF 2024. I will then look at other sourced. I tagged all 2020 and 2021 rankings in Category:Pages using Infobox India university ranking with older rankings (90) and it will re-populate in time, if you feel like cleaning up more. Update QS 2024 & addition of World Ranking by Subject by QS

Please update the parameter of QS for year 2024 and also add a parameter for QS World Ranking by Subject as some universities have earned a global ranking and may want to reflect the same. Errerless (talk) 14:30, 16 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Errerless:  Half done, most recent QS rankings added for all those which already existed. I can add specific Rankings by Subject upon request, but the template is already way too large, so I wont do that until all 2020 and 2021 usage is updated and Category:Pages using Infobox India university ranking with older rankings (90) is cleaned up. Updates required for multiple rankings

ARWU have released the 2023 rankings

Times has released both 2024 Asia and World rankings

Outlook India has released all of their rankings for 2024 (OUTLOOK-RANKS (outlookindia.com))

India Today also now releases a multiple rankings for multiple categories, I think that should be incorporated as well. (College Ranking in India - India Today)

Financial Times has also released their 2024 edition (MBA 2024 - Business school rankings from the Financial Times - FT.com) Xoocit (talk) 08:37, 9 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

"National Institutional Ranking Framework 2022 (Engineering)" used in Reference nmber 56 gives a 404 - File or directory not found error. Update NIRF 2024, QS 2024, FT MBA 2024, and Outlook B-School 2024

@Burhan.nameer: Don't take it wrong, but that's exactly why I did not update the template for so long and why no one will update it in the future. You, and four other editors, come here requesting for a few hours of my time. Each of you then goes back and updates exactly the one article, the article for the institute you care for. None of you care for the fact that out of 438 pages using this template, 405 are using outdated rankings (see Category:Pages using outdated Infobox India university ranking (327)), and 93 are using rankings from 2020 and 2021 (see Category:Pages using Infobox India university ranking with older rankings (90)). If you don't care, why should I?

@Muhandes: Hi. I am a new editor, and was mainly focussed on my college. Let me see if I can help you in some way. In India, users often don't update wiki pages, and to manually check the rank of every college in every list individually is a VERY cumbersome task. Still, I will see if I can update a few colleges. Opinion on Addition of IIRF Ranking

IRF Ranking claims to be ranking guided by industry and professionals. It has been active since 2015, a year before NIRF Ranking was issued.

Does anyone here expertise to verify the methodology used by IIRF? Is it impartial and credible one to be included here?

If Yes, can anyone who knows how to edit the Template be willing to make the addition? Wiki6995 (talk) 01:58, 10 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Wiki6995: I don't have an opinion about IIRF, and we don't have an article about them. The first step would be to create such an article and establish notability. I would argue that the before adding new rankings to the template, we need to clean up the 329 pages using outdated rankings (see Category:Pages using outdated Infobox India university ranking (327)), and 90 using rankings from 2020 and 2021 (see Category:Pages using Infobox India university ranking with older rankings (90). 404 - File or directory not found

Could someone please correct the citation for NIRF (2024) under Engineering? The URL currently has an extra "L" after ".html" (appearing as htmll), which invalidates the link.
