Accessibility problems

[edit]

The colors as seen in Gibraltar Cable Car - black text on dark gray background are completely illegible and not in line with WP policies on accessibility. МандичкаYO 😜 21:44, 7 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Yes indeed. This is the styling that it's using:
background-color: ; color:
and emits the value #343434 which is the dark grey that we see for the background. The text colour emitted by Greater color contrast ratio for this is white a null string. Therein lies the problem. I think it's null because emits a hash sign (in the form of the entity #) that Module:Color contrast (which is invoked by Greater color contrast ratio) isn't expecting. Since it's a module, Lua is going on: and RexxS (talk · contribs) is our Lua/Accessibility expert. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 22:18, 7 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
You identified the problem precisely, Redrose64. I've amended Module:Color contrast so that it replaces the html entity with the # symbol. It looks right to me now, but it would be helpful if you could check and let me know if any problems arise. Test:
 • → white

I have edited Template:Infobox aerial lift line/type with the intention of fixing some links there that were to disambiguation changes. My intention is only to change the links in the displayed text to appropriate articles. I tested my changes in my own sandbox before committing here, using a copy of Template:Infobox aerial lift line#Abbreviation list for aerial lift types and believe everything is correct. I have also visited Template:Infobox aerial lift line/testcases and various pages thet use the template to verify everything is working. Please let me know or fix any issues yourself if there are any issues. Thank you. MegaSloth (talk) 11:17, 6 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Some Tram lines, for example regional transit or recreational aerial tramways, have their own logo. Some use the logo of the operating body. There should be spots for a logo and its width above the image in the template. Maybe someone could add it? Kehkou (talk) 12:20, 11 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
