June 2006

[edit]

This template should include the movies in the Return of the Living Dead (film series), should it not? —Gabbe 17:34, 17 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I agree actually, I was trying to decide the best way to add them Joltman 19:09, 20 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Books

[edit]

Should I Am Legend, the book that inspired Night of the Living Dead, and Russo's Return of the Living Dead (book) be included on the template? 75.41.169.189 16:25, 7 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's an interesting thought. Not I Am Legend. Once you include one inspiration, you make too much room for others. As for Russo's book, I don't know. Maybe, maybe not. Right now, the template is only about films. Once you include one book, the list could be endless. There have been too, too many books, comic books, magazines, and other media related to Night of the Living Dead. Doczilla 22:05, 8 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Flight of the Living Dead

[edit]

How about Flight of the Living Dead? :) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.234.60.154 (talk) 10:57, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It doesn't fit any part of the template. The "of the Living Dead" name isn't enough to qualify. Doczilla RAWR! 17:30, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Games

[edit]

I think episode three of the adventure game Sam & Max Season Two named "Night of the Raving Dead" should be added to parodies N.samimi island (talk) 19:45, 16 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Zombi series

[edit]

Those films have nothing to do in relation to Romero's/Russo's individual series. Furthermore, their titles in different regions are confusing. I think it should be taken off. - Enter Movie (talk) 17:40, 26 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Russo's alternate Night of the Living Dead series

[edit]

The article Children of the Living Dead says that Children is a sequel to Night of the Living Dead: 30th Anniversary Edition. My edit was based on this statement, which, if true, means that there is merit in including the group for Russo's version - even if it consists of 2 films. --Gonnym (talk) 09:37, 4 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Even if 2 films were enough to count as a series, the Children of the Living Dead article provides no source for that assertion. Appearing on many articles, a navigation box has a higher burden for accuracy. Doczilla STOMP! 20:00, 4 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Russo's Night of the Living Dead series: Reloaded

[edit]

From 30 Oct 2012 the article Children of the Living Dead not only says that Children is a sequel to Night of the Living Dead: 30th Anniversary Edition but also have evidence for this assertion. Direct external link is here. This is open for public e-mail from Tor Ramsey (director of Children of the Living Dead). Direct quote from this article: "Seriously, what can I tell you but the Executive Producer of HALLOWEEN and NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET teamed up with the co-author of the original NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD to do what was described to me as the sequel to NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD, on the same level as a RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD. Hell, who wouldn't have jumped at the chance! Unfortunately I was to find that if it looks like a duck, sounds like a duck and walks like a duck it ain’t always a duck. I was to find out later that the only connection this thing had to George Romero’s great trilogy was John Russo and the words “Living Dead". So section for "Russo's Dead films" must be created. --Vanquisher 21:08, 30 October 2012 (UTC)

Blind Dead series

[edit]

The Blind Dead series is obviously inspired by George Romero's classic series so shouldnt'y they be included too in the template?--Paleface Jack (talk) 22:47, 12 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
