WP Women in Green - October Good Article (GA) Edit-a-thon

[edit]

I'd like to request that this notice be added to the watchlist -- leaving it up for one week would be perfect.

Sign up here for WikiProject Women in Green's "Around the World in 31 Days" Good Article (GA) edit-a-thon, running through October 2024. Learn new GA skills, help improve articles about women and women's works, and earn a special barnstar!

GAN backlog drive

[edit]

Requesting a watchlist notice to run for the next seven days:

The October Good Article Nominations backlog drive aims to completely eliminate the backlog of nominations from nominees who don't yet have 10 or more Good Articles. Sign up now to help us make it happen!

nb4 "do it yourself, noob": no. I will absolutely break everything with a catastrophic typo if I touch this page directly. -- asilvering (talk) 00:27, 27 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Administrator elections

[edit]

Hello friends. Just a quick note to let you know that I plan to post three watchlist notices related to admin elections:

If there's any concerns about the wording, quantity of messages, duration, etc. please let us know soon so we can make adjustments. Thanks! –Novem Linguae (talk) 01:32, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Are you are already a day late with the first message? — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 08:01, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I think that may have been a typo, as on pages such as WP:AELECT and the MMS variation for calling for candidates it's Oct 8, not Oct 6. —Sirdog (talk) 08:10, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yeap, was a typo. Fixed now. –Novem Linguae (talk) 15:40, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Surely the until parameter in {{Display/watchlist}} needs to be one day later, as these deadlines include the end date. For example, the nominations notice is already gone from my watchlist, although the period only ends at midnight UTC. -- Maddy from Celeste (WAVEDASH) 12:43, 14 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Just to note that I have prepared the next message, which will display from 22 October — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 10:34, 17 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
