Metacerithiidae is an extinct family of fossil sea snails, marine gastropod molluscs in the superfamily Campaniloidea.[2]

According to the taxonomy of the Gastropoda by Bouchet & Rocroi (2005) the family Metacerithiidae has no subfamilies.
