Torbat-e Jam County (Persian: شهرستان تربت جام) is in Razavi Khorasan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Torbat-e Jam.[3]
History
[edit]After the 2006 National Census, the village of Ahmadabad-e Sowlat was elevated to the status of a city.[4]
After the 2016 census, the village of Samiabad-e Arbab Din Mohammad rose to city status.[5] In 2017, Salehabad District was separated from the county in the establishment of Salehabad County, which was divided into two districts and five rural districts, with the city of Salehabad as its capital.[6]
Demographics

[edit]At the time of the 2006 census, the county's population was 239,395, in 53,510 households.[7] The following census in 2011 counted 262,712 people in 65,817 households.[8] The 2016 census measured the population of the county as 267,671 in 71,802 households.[2]
