Taxonomy

[edit]

According to World Dermestidae catalogue (Jiří Háva, 2023), following taxonomic division is proposed for Megatomini.[2] However, Zhou and colleagues (2022) only recognize 3 major clades supported by both molecular and morphological research while also proposing the synonimization of subtribes Anthrenocerina and Cryptorhopalina with Trogodermina.[3]
