Tijana Andrejic

Tijana Andrejic was born in 1986 in Novi Sad, Serbia. She graduated at "Isidor Bajic" Music School in Novi Sad with professor Vera Hofman-Momcilovic as "The best student of generation" receiving the honor to be invited by Royal Family of Serbia Karadjordjevic for the Prize Ceremony. Until the age of 15, Tijana was already very successful in various national and international competitions in Serbia and abroad, but the most important recognition came with the First prize at international competition "Isidor Bajic Piano Memorial" in 2006 (member of the World Federation of International Music Competitions of Geneva). During her education in Serbia she was a scholarship holder of the Fund for Young Talents and the Foundation for Development of Young Scientists and Artists with the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Serbia. She finished her Bachelor degree at Academy of Arts in Novi Sad with professor Dorian Leljak, awarded with "The Little Prince" prize as the best student of the Music Department of Academy. She enrolled Master degree studies with professor Dorian Leljak and she became his assistant in two subjects: piano and history of the keyboard literature. She has attended piano courses with professors: Kemal Gekic, Rustemm Hajrudinov, Sergei Babayan, Sergei Kudrjakov and Jean-Efflam Bavouzet. Tijana moved to Italy in 2009 where she continued her studies at Academy ‘’Santa Cecilia’’ in Bergamo with Maestro Konstantin Bogino and from 2010 she is a student of Maestro Boris Petrushansky at the International Academy ‘’Incontri col Maestro’’ in Imola. Tijana Andrejic has performed in the most prestigious concert halls in her country, as a soloist, as a chamber musician as well as a soloist with orchestra (Kolarac Concert Hall in Belgrade, Synagogue and City Hall in Novi Sad, City Hall in Subotica), in Italy at the Bocconi University in Milano, Theatre Politeama in Palermo, Theatre Miela in Trieste, Theatre Bon in Udine and in other countries (Estonia, Ukraine, Czech Republic, etc.). She played with Orchestra of international piano festival of Brescia and Bergamo, Serbian Radio-Television Orchestra, ”Mihail Jora “ Philharmonic Orchestra of Bacau, Banatul State Philharmonic Orchestra of Timisoara, Chamber Orchestra of České Budějovice and collaborated with conductors such as: Pier Carlo orizio, Bojan Sudjic, Gheorghe Costin, Ovidiu Balan, Marek Šedivý. She recorded for RTS (Radio Television Serbia), RTV (Radio Television Vojvodina) etc. Her repertoire extends from Bach and Handel to Stravinsky, Szymanowski and Shchedrin. She is actively playing in piano duo with Italian pianist Giuseppe Andaloro and recently they performed Andaloro’s transcription of the "Rite of spring" by Stravinsky for two pianos and two cellos together with Giovanni Sollima and Monika Leskovar.
