Omara began her acting journey with roles in smaller productions and engaging in immersive plays with the Rangaai Theatre Company in Mumbai's Andheri. She also participated in a Singaporean episodic web-series, DBS Sparks. Her significant Bollywood opportunity came with "Phone Bhoot" (2022), starring alongside Katrina Kaif. This role came during a financially challenging time due to the COVID-19 pandemic but provided her with invaluable experience.

Her major breakthrough came with "The_Shameless_(2024_film)", directed by Bulgarian filmmaker Konstantin Bojanov. In this film, she portrays Devika, a character entrenched in the harsh realities of sex work within the context of India's devadasi tradition.
