Erin Brockovich[1] is a movie based on true story of a single mother pursuing a career in class action law. She helps win a case against a mining company polluting the local towns wate[2]r. The town is in Yonkers, New York. The mining company is Rio Tinto Shine Lawyers took on the case in 1985 and won in 1988[3].
