Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies.

DIALux is a 3D graphics software for indoor and outdoor lighting design developed and distributed by DIAL GmbH in Lüdenscheid, Germany.
Numerous lamp and luminaire manufacturers offer plug-ins for their products that make the beam characteristics available in the DIALux application.
3D models created with Dialux can be rendered with the raytracer POV-Ray.
Among other things, Dialux supports the lighting design of sports facilities or the design of emergency lighting according to DIN EN 1838.
With the newer versions, energy evaluations can also be carried out according to DIN V 18599 and EN 15193, as required for energy performance certificates.
As Porumb et al. show, Dialux can also be used, for example, for planning tasks such as the optimal lighting of artworks in a gallery.[1][2]
The software is available free of charge via the manufacturer's website. It was used, for example, in the lighting design for the Alte Pinakothek in Munich or for the UNESCO World Heritage Site Imperial Palace of Goslar (Kaiserpfalz Goslar).[3][4]
