The Tinley Creek Divison is a division of the Cook County Forest Preserve which is centered around Tinley Creek and Rubio Woods.
Creeks
[edit]Tinley Creek
[edit]Tinley Creek is not only the namesake for the divsion, but also a creek and bike path. The bike path spans 27.3 miles. [1]
Midlothian Creek
[edit]The Midlothian Creek is another creek located inside the Tinley Creek Division. It is also the namesake for the Midlothian Reservoir, which it drains into. The Midlothian Creek and Midlothian Reservoir are mainly used for fishing.

Bachelor's Grove Woods
[edit]Bachelor's Grove Woods is home to the infamous Bachelor's Grove Cemetery which is sometimes referred to as the most hanuted cemetery in the world.
Lakes
[edit]Turtlehead Lake

Turtlehead Lake is a nature preserve in Cook County, Illinois which includes Turtlehead Lake, Turtlehead Pond, and West Pond. It is mainly known for fishing, but also allows ice fishing, bicycling, cross country skiing, and snowmobiling. [2] Out of the lakes and ponds in Turtlehead Lake, the deepest is Turtlehead Lake which goes as deep as 14.6 feet. [3] [4]
Hambone Lake
[edit]Hambone Lake is another lake next to Turtlehead Lake, and is also known for fishing.
Arrowhead Lake
[edit]Arrowhead Lake is another lake next to Turtlehead Lake, and is also known for fishing but is much more populus in Largemouth Bass than any of the other lakes in the area. [5] It's max depth is 12.6 feet. [6]
George W. Dunne National Golf Course
[edit]George W. Dunne National Golf Course is a public 18-hole golf course in the Tinley Creek Division. It was opened in 1982.
