Jenisan Jeremiah:

Using basketball as a catalyst, Jenisan Jeremiah’s focus and determination coupled with a strong and supportive family and friends, won in many victories on and off the court including being named MVP in basketball.

Jenisan came to teach young youth who are at risk and to help them build a ladder to a fulfilling life, he then got involved with an organization called Jenisan Jeremiah Basketball Association. These organizations provide diversity in youth from across Ontario a safe place to learn fundamentals for basketball, sports and for life. It provides youth with free tutoring, mentoring, assistance finding scholarships, employment, clothes, short term housing, and financial assistance where possible.

Jenisan was the former head coach for the Markham Gators U19 Boys’, which is a professional Ontario Basketball league. Building on his experience as a player, coach and a business leader, Jenisan took on the founding role of building a sustainable basketball program in the GTA, managing the process of building a professional team, developing players and creating excitement on and off the court.

With the understanding that we all deserve the opportunity to become our best selves, Jenisan is often out at Community events speaking to young people, parents, and the Community leaders spreading the message of personal development and challenging others to be change-agents in our communities, workplaces, homes and most of all, within ourselves.
