Nankan Grottoes is a grotto with many stone statues located in Nankan Scenic Area, Bazhou District, Bazhong City, Sichuan Province, China.[1]


(In the State Council agreed that the Ministry of Culture proposed the third batch of national key cultural relics protection units (a total of 258))[2]

South niche statue, mainly to feed the cave, engraved Buddhist story of very few, including Shakyamuni Buddha, Medicine Buddha, Vishnu Shakyamuni Buddha, Amitabha Buddha, double-headed Buddha, double-bodied Buddha, ghost mother Bodhisattva, Rulai Buddha and other statues. The statue of Bodhisattva, Guanyin Bodhisattva, is the most numerous. The rest of the statues are of Bodhisattvas such as the Hearing of the Dharma and the Eight Departments, the Heavenly Kings, the Rexes, the Kagura, the Flying Heaven and other protectors. All kinds of Buddha statues are exquisite and exquisite, with different postures, thick temperament, dignified and full, elegant and graceful.[4]
