George Frederick Cameron

George Frederick Cameron (24 September 185417 September 1885) was a Canadian poet, journalist, and lawyer.

Cameron was born in 1854 at New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, the eldest son of James Grant Cameron and Jessie Sutherland.[1][2] After his family moved to Boston in 1869, he received a law degree from the Boston University of Law. He later studied at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, where in 1883 he won a prize for the best original poem.

Edna Longley

Edna Longley (1940—) is an influential critic on modern Irish and British poetry. Born in Dublin, she was educated at Trinity College, Dublin. She is married to Irish poet Michael Longley.

Longley has served as editor of the Irish Review. She is currently on the editorial board of Fortnight magazine.[1]
