Technology and Comunication:

Technology has its powerful impact on people’s communication. It enhanced the social interaction not only between individuals but also in working life.^[1] Nowadays, technology have been affecting people's communication; because of that scholars put an effort to analyze and see the contribution between technology and communication.^[2]

According to a study by Elon journal about The Effect of Technology on Face to Face Communication, the majority of people depend on technology in order to communicate with their friends and family.^[3] The result of the survey about wether the technology has negative impact on communication or not shows that the vast majority think of technology has affected direct communication in bad way.^[3]

Technology would be a powerful tool when defining communication as a learning process that need to have a sender and receiver.^[2] According to Nicholas Jankowski in his book The Contours of Multimedia, a third party, like a software, is acting in the middle between a sender and receiver. The sender is interacting with this third party to send, the receiver is interacting with it as well, and that is creating an additional interaction with the medium itself along with the original intended one between sender and receiver.^[2]
