Alaska Airlines Flight 536 was a scheduled flight from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport to Burbank, California on 2005-12-26. The aircraft was an MD-80 that suffered a severe decompression at 26,000 feet.^[1]

After a necessary dive to recover cabin pressure, the plane made an emergency landing at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. There were no injuries. The United States National Transportation Safety Board determined the cause to be the actions of a baggage handler who hit the aircraft on the ground and never reported the incident.^[2] This caused a dent in the fuselage which ruptured during flight.
