"citation needed"

[edit]

Do not put lots of "citation needed" into text, please be precise and correct. Pinpoint exactly what fact needs a citation. Always retract over connected text to the source of the problem. Never use "citation needed" for simple deductions. This way the text stays readable, understanding the problem is easier for readers, and identifying the problem is easier for editors.

Wikilinking

[edit]
  • Items should generally only be linked once in an article.
  • Generally the first occurrence should be linked.
  • In long articles there might be additional linking advisable in subchapters.
  • In long subchapters there might be additional linking advisable when the topic newly arises.
  • Items in captions should be wikilinked independently from article text.
