I have tagged the article you just created because so many of the citations are not independent sources. Have a look at our guidelines - Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources. Perhaps you can improve on this. Also, is the "of Ballumbie Castle" bit part of his actual name/title? If not, we might be better off moving the article to "Mark Lindley-Highfield". New article: Mark Paul Lindley-Highfield of Ballumbie Castle

[edit]

Thanks for feedback, Deb. Yes, as per the article "of Ballumbie Castle" is actually a part of his name - see the text itself Mark Paul Lindley-Highfield of Ballumbie Castle#Biography. This web page refers: http://www.debretts.com/forms-of-address/titles/scottish--and-irish-titles/chief,-chieftain,-laird.aspx

Please can you confirm which you do not see as independent sources, so that I can tidy these up? I thought they were all reliable sources?Adammoseley63 (talk)

Well, I would say the Open University one isn't really independent, because he obviously wrote it himself. When I first looked at the Guardian one, I was doing a search on "Lindley" so I missed the fact that he was mentioned by his birth name, so you're right, that one's perfectly admissible. Taken all in all, I guess it's fine. I think I'll untag it.Deb (talk) 08:25, 28 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, just noticed, you haven't put it into any categories. You should do that. Deb (talk) 08:26, 28 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Just done. Thanks for your help. Adammoseley63 (talk)
