AWB Task

[edit]

The task you requested has been completed. Regards, Alan16 (talk) 12:00, 28 July 2009 (UTC).[reply]

Thank You. Advisorspeak en-2 12:53, 28 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This cape does not exist. The northernmost cape called Cape Molotov (Russian: мыс Молотова) [1]. Advisorspeak en-2 05:54, 7 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Speedy keep. You may have a naming issue, but that's not a reason to delete nor is it for discussion at AfD. Also, allow me to quote from William James Mills, Exploring Polar Frontiers: A Historical Encyclopedia, Vol. 2: "Ushakov and his two companions explored the west coast of the large central island—October Revolution—before crossing a strait to Komsomolets Island and sledging to the northernmost point of the archipelago. This is now known as Arctic Cape, though Ushakov originally named it for the later disgraced politician Vyechyslav Molotov."  Glenfarclas  (talk) 06:14, 7 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment: While I was typing the above reply, the nominator tagged this page db-author. Since there's now substantial comment by another author (sorry) I've removed the speedy deletion tag, but suggest speedy close as a withdrawn nomination.  Glenfarclas  (talk) 06:18, 7 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

AfD restored

[edit]

Hi Advisors, I'm sorry if I've given you trouble on account of this AfD, but I feel that it should be closed properly and retained, just like any other AfD. Obviously we both now think that Arctic Cape should be kept, but that doesn't mean we ought to blank and delete the AfD. I suggested that User:JoJan restore it, which he has. I'm going to put it back on the daily log and restore the AfD template to the article. I'd appreciate if you would not blank out that information until the nomination is properly closed. Thanks—  Glenfarclas  (talk) 11:28, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Also, I should mention that I can understand why you would think that the best way to withdraw an AfD nomination is just to delete it so that other people don't have to bother with it. That seems like the easiest thing to do, but it's better to follow the ordinary procedures: just note your withdrawal on the AfD and either close it yourself or just let someone else do it, it really does not take that much time.  Glenfarclas  (talk) 11:37, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hi. I unfortunately do not know much English. I write mostly in ruwiki, so the rules of the English section do not know. Do as the procedure.
Recently, I found 6 articles in different languages contain factual error. All copied from the English language. This article is Cape Zhelaniya. In nlwiki (nl:Kaap Zjelania) error still exists. Advisorspeak en-2 13:02, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
What is the error in Cape Zhelaniya?  Glenfarclas  (talk) 23:13, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
"is the easternmost point of Europe.": [2]. Later fix error [3], but have been translations into other languages. Advisorspeak en-2 00:23, 10 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Cape Zhelaniya

[edit]

Hello, Advisors. I saw that you've changed the page Cape Zhelaniya. ([1]). I used this web-site ([2]), altogether with other web-pages ([3], [4] etc.) as references to support my writing. Can you please point to me at least 3 other reference web-pages that you used for your changes? Thank you, Dako1 February 17, 2010 - 20:29 (UTC)

Hello. This is big error. Polar station on Cape Zhelaniya [4]. Cape Flissingski: [5]. See also official map: [6] and Google Maps Мыс Флиссингский. Wikipedia itself is not an authoritative source. Advisorspeak en-2 03:57, 18 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Advisorspeak en-2 13:18, 22 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
