Re:Liz

[edit]

I saw your comments and the quote over at the RFA talk page, and I think I get what you were trying to say. To borrow a little from Ray Bradburry: "We are living in a time when flowers are trying to grow on flowers instead of growing on good rain and black loam. Even fireworks, for all their prettiness, come from the chemistry of the earth. Yet somehow we think we can grow feeding on flowers and fireworks" Is that about right? TPG

[edit]

Please read WP:TPG and do not do stuff like this. It is a classic example that proves my point, ie: inexperienced contributors can unwittingly disrupt things at RfA. - Sitush (talk) 10:52, 4 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Improper page move

[edit]

Please see my request here concerning your improperly executed and undiscussed move of 2015 Washington, D.C., mass murder to 2015 Savopoulos family massacre (along with the associated Talk page). General Ization Talk 16:03, 7 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The pages have now been moved back. Please do not move them again without seeking and achieving consensus on the article's Talk page, and ensure that when and if you do move a page, you do so properly so that the page histories remain with the renamed pages (which you did not do in the prior moves). Fiction template

[edit]

You applied two tags to Murder of Anni Dewani. The first, which is appropriate until issues are resolved, is the NPOV tag. The second is puzzling. You added a template that the article fails to differentiate between fact and fiction, and should be rewritten according to the fiction guidelines. Since the article is fact, since Ms. Dewani was murdered, and since what is in dispute is only the matter of involvement of particular persons, this template is in my opinion incorrect. Unless you can find a template that states that the article should be rewritten according to the fact guidelines, I will have to remove the template when the article comes off full-protection. Please explain the template here. Robert McClenon (talk) 19:35, 22 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Robert McClenon (talk) When criminals get arrested they are advised by their lawyers to cook up stories which would create suspicion on husband. Their story was seen as the ultimate truth when i read this article. And you must read these in detail why the murderers are not St. Thomas who feeds poor and adopts orphans.
It is true that the case as described mixed fiction and fact, but the template was the wrong template, because it said to rewrite according to fiction guidelines. Ms. Dewani was murdered. That is a fact. I understand that it mixed fact and fiction, but telling the other editors to rewrite according to fiction guidelines missed the point. Thank you for trying to help. Which St. Thomas, anyway? Robert McClenon (talk) 14:58, 26 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
