Nomination of MikS for deletion

[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article MikS is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/MikS until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Celestina007 (talk) 19:12, 18 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on MikS(musical artist) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/MikS. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Wikipedia works by cooperation and, whenever possible, consensus. When a discussion has reached a clear agreement that a particular article is not suitable for inclusion it is not constructive for one editor to decide to ignore that agreement and unilaterally re-create the article. Also it is not a good idea to re-create a deleted article under a different title, for several reasons, including the risk that other editors may get the impression that doing so is an attempt to hide the re-creation from view. MikS(Erevanski) moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, MikS(Erevanski), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ... discospinster talk 21:42, 2 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Block

[edit]
In recent months your sole editing task has been trying to create one article about a person (possibly yourself) who does not satisfy Wikipedia's notability guidelines. As you know, a discussion of the article you created produced a unanimous decision that it was not suitable for Wikipedia, but you have chosen to ignore that, and repeatedly re-create the page under different titles. Even if you originally thought that ignoring consensus and trying to unilaterally overturn it by re-creating the article would be acceptable, you were clearly told that it wasn't, but you chose to ignore that. Almost all of us, when we start editing Wikipedia, know little or nothing about Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, so nobody can be blamed for starting out doing things that are contrary to policies and guidelines that they don't know about. However, continuing to do the same things after being told about the relevant policies and guidelines is a different matter. You have therefore been blocked indefinitely from editing. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock. To do so, first read the guide to appealing blocks, and then add the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of this page. If you do request an unblock my recommendation to the administrator who reviews it will be that you should not be unblocked unless you give an unambiguous undertaking not to try yet again to get the same page onto Wikipedia. This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Good afternoon. The article I decided to create is not about me,it's about a musical artist. I understand i did was inappropriate for this site, and confirm that won't do again. I rely on your understanding, thank you in advance for your help. Astghik24 (talk) 08:03, 22 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You say what you won't do, but not what you will do. Without knowing what it is you will do, there are no grounds to lift the block. 331dot (talk) 09:32, 22 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
