Hello and welcome to my talk page. Leave me a message!

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Request reason:

I am informed I am blocked because of my Network IP address. I don't have any control over this, but the UK provider EE instead. I cannot understand why this happened out of the blue and for 6 months!!!

Decline reason:

Procedural decline only. You forgot to tell us your IP address so we can't investigate your claim. You can find this using WhatIsMyIP. If you don't wish to provide this publicly, you may use WP:UTRS to provide the IP address privately. Yamla (talk) 12:13, 7 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

Following Yamla's reply on my unblock request (I am not sure if I am doing it right), my public IP is 2.28.157.6, which I guess is within the gigantic range of 2.28.152.0/21 which was blocked by Kuru, but I cannot understand how I ended up caught in this. This is an automatic DHCP IP from my ISP, how am I even related to this? Please review my account's actions. I find it impossible to understand how somebody simply blocks another user's account, because they decided to block a 2k+ hosts subnet of a UK ISP for 6 months! My apologies, but this is abuse.

Accept reason:

I have granted you temporary IP block exemption that extends a bit longer than the remainder of the range block. —DoRD (talk) 15:20, 7 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

{{Checkuser needed}} this is a wide CU block for what appears to be BKFIP. My largest concern here is that this is a Lazarus account, so I’m not sure if they meet the IPBE standards. Having a CU review this request would be useful. TonyBallioni (talk) 15:06, 7 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

IP block exempt

[edit]

I have granted your account an exemption from IP blocking. This will allow you to edit through full blocks affecting your IP address when you are logged in.

Please read the page Wikipedia:IP block exemption carefully, especially the section on IP block exemption conditions.

Appropriate usage and compliance with the policy may be checked (through the use of CheckUser) periodically, due to the nature of block exemption, and block exemption will be removed when no longer needed (for example, when the block it is related to expires).

I hope this will enhance your editing, and allow you to edit successfully and without disruption. —DoRD (talk) 15:20, 7 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
