Hello. You probably don't remember me, as we didn't interact too much, but I was active on the otherkin boards a few years ago (under the name Auron). I am also getting my Batchlors in Psychology. I was wondering whether you intended to go onward to graduate school or not? Dark Nexus 23:12, 23 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! I remember you (not in grand elaborate detail -- but I remember you :) ).

I'm still considering my educational possibilities. I was very enthusiastic to do get a grad degree in Psych a couple years ago, go on and get a masters after my Bachelors, become a counselor. I'm ALSO considering a degree in Educational Technology -- computers + graphic design + education -- essentially the end product of the field is working on online educational forums using multimedia and web technologies. Psychology has a place there too. That would be a consolidation of many of my hobbies/skills/prior knowledge. For now, my degree aims me towards counseling, especially as a Kink-Aware Professional or someone who is tolerant of fringe society/culture and nonjudgemental, knowledgable, etc.

That's current news on my education in a nutshell! Thanks for asking! The Crisses 21:37, 24 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Open Source Reiki[edit]

Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Open Source Reiki, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Importance). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at Talk:Open Source Reiki. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Speedy deletion of Vivix[edit]

A tag has been placed on Vivix, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. mboverload@ 23:38, 10 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
