Blanked Microsoft article[edit]

Hi Csaribay. It seems you accidentally blanked the Microsoft article with this edit, which you titled "rvv, section blanking". I assume you meant to revert this edit. I just point it out here so you can know to avoid such doing so in future vandalism watches. Cheers! The Rod (☎ Smith) 19:40, 14 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yep, was reverting some vandalism and looks like I accidentially caught the wrong copy. By the time I noticed it, had been fixed. *Phew* and oops. - Chris Saribay 19:43, 14 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

IP Block, 24.97.51.118[edit]

Hi Csaribay you left a message on my talk page about the blocking of User:24.97.51.118. That IP is currently blocked by Hall Monitor, so I left a message there (as you can see on my talk page, Hall Monitor is investigating). You can check the status of blocks in the block log, for example: [1]. Oh yes, remember to sign your posts on talk pages with ~~~~ (although I must admit I forget sometimes too:-). Have a nice day! --Commander Keane 20:18, 22 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Cheverus High School and IP edits[edit]

Please feel free to have your teacher contact me directly as I would like to speak with her personally regarding the recent vandalism problems we've been experiencing. Best regards, Hall Monitor 20:18, 22 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Emailed you earlier today with email logs and the teachers address. I should say that this is not my teacher, just the one found during my investigation. Chris Saribay 01:22, 23 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Template:SharedIPEDU[edit]

I've been thinking that maybe such a template would be warranted. Thanks for making it. Besides stating that the IP is used by a school, it's not really any different from the {{sharedip}} template. So I wonder what your reasoning for it is, and whether there was discussion about it somewhere that I missed.

I don't know about your watchlist, but mine (well over 1K articles) shows up as almost (guessing) 90% vandalisms or reverts of vandalism. Another guestimate of mine is that 80% of the vandalism comes from school addresses – at least during the day.

BTW, if you make a habit of reverting vandalism, you might want to look at this tool that I wrote to make it easier to leave warning messages on user talk pages.

Was just being bold, I figured I create the template. I haven't substantially changed it from the SharedIP template, but I think that noting that certain IP's belong to schools could help admins in taking a course of action (e.g.: contacting the school) in addition to a block. Hopefully you'll find some use for it.
Also, your tool looks great, and I'm currently using it. Many thanks! Chris Saribay 19:43, 28 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Changes to vandal warning toolbox[edit]

I hope you're finding the warning toolbox useful. I've made a few minor changes to it that you might want to be aware of. --Kbh3rdtalk 21:03, 14 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Per Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kent-Meridian High School, I just thought you'd like to know that the consensus for High School articles now appears to be swinging back in favor of deletion. So this may indicate the beginning of another campaign to remove most High School articles. Your opinion on the AfD article would be appreciated. It might be helpful if a notability standard for High Schools could be agreed upon. Thank you. — RJH (talk) 16:42, 12 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
