whare is Speedy deletion

The page you created falls under WP:A7. I did not find any WP:RS and a Google search turns up dry--XFhumuTalk 09:34, 10 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not tag articles for speedy deletion with A1 when there is clear context. Also, please refrain from using A1 or A3 in the first 10 minutes since an article has been created. Please see WP:NPP, and have a look at the flowchart there for a breakdown of how to review new articles. — InsertCleverPhraseHere (or here) 09:28, 10 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. We appreciate your enthusiasm but maintenance tasks are not for beginners. Please refrain from patrolling pages and tagging them for maintenance or deletion until you have significantly more experience. If you want to help keep the encyclopedia clean, as soon as you have 200 mainspace edits you will qualify to enrol at the WP:CVUA to learn how to combat vandalism. It's a much easier task and still extremely important. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask me on my talk page. Happy editing! Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 14:30, 14 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi User:Kudpung I really thought I was doing a great job.--XFhumuTalk 14:47, 14 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Bare-URL refs at George Uboh

[edit]

In this edit, you said there were no Bare URLs, but it appears that nearly half of the footnotes appears to have no detail other than the URL itself. Are there details buried somewhere else that I'm not seeing? DMacks (talk) 14:29, 17 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Likewise, there are five I see in Demographics of Nicaragua. DMacks (talk) 14:32, 17 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
And also still one in Geoff Simmons (politician). Maybe you mis-clicked one of the options in Wikipedia:REFILL? DMacks (talk) 14:34, 17 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@DMacks: Thanks for reaching out, all my options on Wikipedia:REFILL are disabled--XFhumuTalk 13:39, 18 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Elmer Morales (software engineer) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. reddogsix (talk) 00:47, 30 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. Per the notice you received above, a tag had been placed on Elmer Morales requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Please note that after review, I have declined the deletion request so you do not need to worry about this article being speedily deleted. Please note that speedy deletion is only one of three deletion processes on Wikipedia; my decline does not prevent users from invoking the separate, longer term deletion methods of proposed deletion or bringing the article to articles for deletion. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. --Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 13:36, 1 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I've also moved the page from its overprecise title, to the undisambiguated title above.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 13:36, 1 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Fuhghettaboutit:Thanks, The article has been nominated for deletion as you had mentioned earlier.--XFhumuTalk 16:10, 1 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Try doing a proper job

[edit]

When you fix 3 rotten links, you do not then delete the bloody tag while leaving 50 links behind. Isn't that obvious? 207.35.33.162 (talk) 19:47, 30 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@207.35.33.162: I use Wikipedia:REFILL, It is the one that deletes the bloody tags not me, This is is because most links cannot be refilled. XFhumuTalk 20:40, 30 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Undisclosed paid editing

[edit]
Information icon

Hello XFhumu. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, and that you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to Black hat SEO.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:XFhumu. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=XFhumu|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, please do not edit further until you answer this message. SmartSE (talk) 20:32, 25 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Smartse: Hi assure you that I am not involved in any paid editing. XFhumuTalk 21:07, 25 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding your email, please see the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/MassiveYR. That's not including the off-wiki material which conclusively links you to MassiveYR, regardless of whether you are the same person or not. In addition, it is patently obvious that your answer to my previous question about whether you are being paid was false. SmartSE (talk) 10:34, 15 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

SmartSE Can you email me the off-wiki material you speak of. I am failing to see why my account has been blocked. I cannot find any evidence that shows that my account is linked to any of the accounts mentioned at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/MassiveYR investigation. --XFhumuTalk 16:45, 16 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think that's really necessary and it would reveal the most incriminating evidence that I am not willing to disclose to you. Special:Undelete/DeepTouchSA (which you can't see I'm afraid) shows you, MassiveYR and Vukhudo all contributing to the same article and you also changed your username from DeepTouchSA. If you do not think that the block is merited, please follow the instructions in the notice above and I will send details to the reviewing admin. SmartSE (talk) 20:43, 16 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
SmartSE Is it not a coincidence that me and the editors you mentioned were editing the same article. I changed my username because I was not aware of the username policies. I thought username creation was based on article title creation, which is why my first article was DeepTouchSA--XFhumuTalk 14:27, 18 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
