Sarada Uchiha[edit]

Hello. Welcome to Wikipedia. Sarada Uchiha's article was recently created but I had to revert your edit because there were no citations for it per WP:Verifiabilty. If you could bring the source where you obtained such information, we could bring it up to the article without issues. Hope you enjoy editing. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 22:49, 1 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! Sorry, I am pretty new here and I didn't know I needed to find the exact source of the information that I'd like to add. I looked it up and found these two sites in which what I was trying to add to the page is confirmed, even with a picture: 1 2. Hope one of them can be used as a Citation so that the information can be added to the page.Flowerpiep (talk) 23:52, 1 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Nice, while these aren't WP:Reliable sources we might add information to them if we find the original source they mention.Tintor2 (talk) 10:13, 2 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
And added to the article.Tintor2 (talk) 15:48, 2 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for adding it! I am so glad it could eventually be added!Flowerpiep (talk) 13:10, 3 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
By the way, I put the article to be copyedited some weeks ago and it's getting close to the copyedit review to see if it can nominated to GA. Still, before the nomination I would like you to present you to User:1989 who has been upgrading a lot of Naruto articles to form some sort of collaboration. Thanks to 1989 Naruto Uzumaki became FA while Boruto became GA so I would like him to make a few touches too. Cheers and have fun editing.Tintor2 (talk) 22:32, 18 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for presenting User:1989 to me! It would be amazing if User:1989 could contribute to this article so that it can become a GA! What's more, I fully believe that this article deserves to be classified as a GA as it has been created really carefully and contains important information. Flowerpiep (talk) 22:23, 19 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The copy-editor is treating the article right now, so it's best to leave him/her work to avoid edit conflicts.Tintor2 (talk) 23:48, 19 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, okay! Sorry, I didn't know they were the copy-editor. I thought User 1989 would be. My mistake. Flowerpiep (talk) 23:59, 19 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@1989: the copyedit has been finished. Should we nominate it?Tintor2 (talk) 00:00, 20 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Shouldn't Sarada's basic description (the main traits that she inherited from both of her parents) be kept in the article at the beginning of the Appearances section, considering that Boruto's main physical and personality traits are listed in his article? Flowerpiep (talk) 00:54, 20 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Don't remember Boruto's appearance being described so much in his article. I would suggest following Naruto Uzumaki#Description as an example.Tintor2 (talk) 01:03, 20 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I believe the information that should be kept with regard to Sarada's description is the information that was added to the article from the beginning: "She has inherited traits from both parents, like her mother's "Cha!" (しゃーんなろー!, Shānnarō!) verbal tic, kindness, and hair-trigger temper, and her father's aloofness, and reluctance to acknowledge certain people, even though she is not above commending them when they truly deserve it." This is how that specific part of the article was worded from the moment of its creation (except for some minor wording changes and small additions) and I think that these lines would briefly outline Sarada's description well. Flowerpiep (talk) 01:41, 20 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Feel free to do it but remember to add the reference because it could be classified as WP:Original Research.Tintor2 (talk) 15:22, 20 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Okay! But I have one question: this part initially had no reference, so what reference should I add? Should I add one of the chapters in which Sarada shows her verbal tic and the rest of the previously mentioned traits as a reference? Flowerpiep (talk) 18:39, 20 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I wouldn't say what she inherhited from her parents considering that may be OR so be as a neutral as possible and use any manga or anime source.Tintor2 (talk) 20:56, 20 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Okay. Since the fact that Sarada inherited Sakura’s verbal tic is basically her only personality trait that was fully confirmed in the manga (at the end of Naruto Gaiden chapter 9), I only added this information to the article. Also, in the paragraph in which I added this (during the Naruto Gaiden summary), Naruto Gaiden chapter 9 was already mentioned as a reference. Flowerpiep (talk) 00:51, 21 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
A fellow user is going to review Sarada's article one of these days so be take a look at the GA review if I'm not around. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 22:53, 22 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
See Talk:Sarada Uchiha/GA1.Tintor2 (talk) 23:13, 22 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Did some parts of the review? Could you give me a hand with this one or User:1989?Tintor2 (talk) 01:46, 23 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Of course! I will look right now at the comments from the review and see what can be done. Flowerpiep (talk) 12:16, 23 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

And the article became GA. Good team up :D . Hope you enjoy editing Wikipedia. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 00:38, 25 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I am so happy! You did an amazing job!! =) Also, I'm glad I could help! If you need assistance with any articles in the future, just tell me and I will be more than glad to help in any way I can! Flowerpiep (talk) 13:07, 25 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Boruto: Naruto the Movie[edit]

I recently expanded the article Boruto: Naruto the Movie to see if it can become recognized in the future. Since my prose is not very good due to me not being a native English speaker, I wonder if you could take a look at the article. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 22:03, 6 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, of course! I tried to fix that particular paragraph. Hope it turned out well!Flowerpiep (talk) 00:07, 7 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The copyedit has been finished. Since I'm not sure if it's in good shape to become GA, I asked in the Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Anime and manga#Ready for GA? project to gather opinions before nominating it. Feel free to edit it if you want.Tintor2 (talk) 00:49, 5 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Sure. I made some changes to the article. I think it is definitely ready to be nominated! :) Flowerpiep (talk) 01:02, 6 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Nice work. I'm currently reviewing another article so you wanna nominate you? You did a lot of work too so you can also nominate it due to your credit. It's simple. Just check Wikipedia:Good article nominations/Instructions#Step 2: Nominating the article. Of course, I'll also try to check once it is reviewed. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 01:08, 6 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
It would be a pleasure for me to do that! :D But I have one question first: Do you think the article will be reviewed as early as tomorrow? I am asking this since this Wednesday I won't be able to be online because of some really important work, so tomorrow I won't be able to start changing the points highlighted by the reviewer (if the article is reviewed tomorrow). Still, I will be able to check the article and use the advice given by the reviewer starting from Thursday. Would this be this okay? Flowerpiep (talk) 01:22, 6 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I doubt an article tends to be reviewed so quickly. Still, all GA reviews at least a week so don't worry.Tintor2 (talk) 01:34, 6 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Okay! Done! :) Thank you for choosing me as the one to nominate the article! Flowerpiep (talk) 02:02, 6 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Mitsuki[edit]

Well, the page is kind of lacking creation information about him and you managed to find some information about Sarada's. Feel free to edit my sandbox if you want.Tintor2 (talk) 01:04, 2 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Okay. So, I looked up and found these:
1 (Despite being pretty short, Mitsuki's description from here was created by Kishimoto himself.)
2 (Here, there's an image with Mitsuki's description from Boruto: Naruto the Movie; on this link, there's a translation for that description.)
3 (Here, there's also an image which contains some information about Mitsuki; I'm not too sure what it says, but here that information seems to be explained in Portuguese.)
4 (I'm not sure if this one is helpful, but from what I understand, Mitsuki's Japanese Voice Actor says something about Mitsuki; below there's also another description for Mitsuki, but I don't know if it's official or who came up with it.)
5 (This last link doesn't have anything to do with Mitsuki's creation, but it might be used for reception since it presents a keychain with Mitsuki sold in a Japanese shop.)
Hope you find these helpful! Flowerpiep (talk) 14:14, 2 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Just created Mitsuki (Naruto). Thanks for the sources. Feel free to edit it whatever you want. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 15:13, 2 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
No problem! And I will look over the article, but first I have a question. In the article, it is said that Mitsuki first appeared in the Naruto spin-off manga, but he had also previously appeared in the last Naruto chapter (700). So, shouldn't the epilogue be mentioned as his first appearance? Flowerpiep (talk) 15:59, 2 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Wait, really?! If so, change it (it's been long since I checked the finale.Tintor2 (talk) 17:09, 2 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I apologise, I was the one who didn't remember correctly. I checked the finale and, indeed, he didn't appear. I must have confused the first pages of chapter 1 from Naruto Gaiden with the first pages from the epilogue because of the similar settings. I should have checked before bringing this up. I'm really sorry. Flowerpiep (talk) 17:39, 2 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
No prob. Still, do you remember if the Gaiden started in late 2014 or early 2015?Tintor2 (talk) 17:58, 2 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, early 2015. From what I remmeber, it started being released in April. Flowerpiep (talk) 18:06, 2 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Btw, now that Mitsuki has some creation information, I believe it could become a GA. However, I think we need to remove the Spiralling Sphere sources and replace them with the original ones before.Tintor2 (talk) 21:28, 8 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: I also think that the article can definitely become a GA now. Regarding the original sources: in the first Spiralling Sphere article it is mentioned that the interview was released in Naruto: The Animation Chronicle (Heaven) Book, while in the second Spiralling Sphere article it is said that the interview was released in the April issue of Gakken Publishing’s Monthly Animedia magazine. Flowerpiep (talk) 03:06, 9 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Done. Still, I doubt we can make a GA nomination in the middle of FA one. Also, do you have knowledge of Viz Media's Shonen Jump American versions? There was one issue where readers their favorite Konohagakure and Akatsuki characters according to the Naruto wikia but I can't find it anywhere.Tintor2 (talk) 16:19, 9 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: This is true, I believe the GA nomination for Mitsuki's article should be made after Sasuke's FA review is finished. Regarding the poll from the American version of the Weekly Shonen Jump, I tried to look it up online, but sadly I couldn't find anything. :/ Flowerpiep (talk) 02:48, 10 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Sasuke Uchiha[edit]

Well, did you see the anon's talk page. The prose still needs some work up so I requested another copyedit in the guild of copyeditors. FAs are really hard to make. Just see Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Naruto Uzumaki/archive1. It took a lot of work for Naruto Uzumaki's article to become a FA. I only managed to get two FAs (Allen Walker and Tidus) but I've been told that should I aim to make another FA, it should be in groups. No need to rush though. We still have to wait for Boruto: Naruto the Movie's review as well as Sasuke's article being copyedited. Perhaps it would be good if you could introduce yourself to the anon I talked to see if we can be more editors working together. 1989, though, is busy making another big article GA so I think we should not bother him for a while. Keep up the good work.Tintor2 (talk) 21:29, 11 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I saw it. I assumed it would be really difficult to turn the article into a FA. Thank you for the link to the archive! I will look over the comments from there and will further read some information to make sure I know everything that is required for an article to be accepted as a FA. Congratulations for those two articles! Let's hope the number will soon be three. :) And yeah, a collective effort would definitely be really productive. Flowerpiep (talk) 18:22, 12 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, from tomorrow to Monday I will be on a miniholidays so I might not be able to edit Wikipedia. I just contacted two experienced users regarding Sasuke's situation so they might provide opinions or something Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 01:03, 15 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Hello! I see. It will be really nice if the two editors can offer some suggestions. Let's hope they will reply soon. Have a nice mini-break! :) Flowerpiep (talk) 02:33, 16 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Looks like a fellow copyeditor accepted the request to check the article. Once it finished we might ask for a peer review, right? Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 01:21, 21 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Hi! I'm glad to hear that! Yes, after the article is checked by the copy editor, a peer review for the article should definitely be requested so that it can be improved even further. Flowerpiep (talk) 02:00, 21 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Started the peer review here. Still, I doubt we might have some responses quickly due to Holidays. Still, Merry Christmas! Hope you enjoy it. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 23:53, 23 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Hello! Thank you for offering me the link! Yes, I believe we will receive the replies after the Holidays. Thank you so much! Merry Christmas to you too! :) Flowerpiep (talk) 00:00, 25 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Another user said he will add some comments to the peer review. I would recommend you to also look at it because your English is superior.Tintor2 (talk) 22:47, 3 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hi! Sure, I will check the comments after they are posted! :) Flowerpiep (talk) 00:16, 4 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hello! I will go on a mini-vacantion for a few days, so I will not be able to make edits in the meantime. Also, I see that the new comments have not been added to the peer review yet. I will look over the comments and further edit the Sasuke Uchiha article based on them right after I return (if the comments are posted while I am away). Talk to you soon! :) Flowerpiep (talk) 01:35, 5 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. Have a fun holidays. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 01:37, 5 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
By the way, in case I don't notice your replies, use the Template:Reply to or simply create a new section in my talk page. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 15:41, 5 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hello! I am back! :) Thank you for the advice! I will use it right after I notice that my replies (especially those which are about an important topic) might have not been read. Flowerpiep (talk) 00:49, 9 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Requested at Wikipedia:Requests for page protection.Tintor2 (talk) 21:44, 15 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: Perfect! :) Flowerpiep (talk) 21:48, 15 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
In order to make it easier to access for readers I changed part of the intro and tried to make the use of "Konohagakure" consistent rather than using just "Konoha" or "Leaf Village". Feel free to copyedit as much as you want to see if IDV finds it passable. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 01:35, 17 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: Hey! I changed some "Konoha" remaining parts and made several other edits. Still, shouldn't the subtitles "Part I" and "Part II" still be included in the Appearances section in order to help the readers understand in which part of the series certain events take place? For example, in Naruto's article, they were allowed. Flowerpiep (talk) 04:30, 17 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
That's what I've been wondering but I don't know if it would make easier to understand for the reviewer. I'll ask there but I think IDV is a busy user.Tintor2 (talk) 13:18, 17 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

This is just a thought but do you think that since "Other media" is too big we should make a "In Boruto" subsection to mark all of his appearances in the new franchise, including Sarada's spinoff, the Boruto movie and Next Generations?Tintor2 (talk) 22:53, 17 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: I think that would be a good idea, especially considering that the Boruto franchise is definitely the most important part of the "Other media" section and thus should be highlighted. Flowerpiep (talk) 02:15, 18 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Looks like the prose is okay now to the reviewer. Still, I'm confused about his comments regarding merchandising so I leave that to you (I added three items more though).Tintor2 (talk) 15:59, 22 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
What does the writer mean by stating the article needs other type of merchandising?Tintor2 (talk) 20:05, 22 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: (Posting this reply in the right spot as I had already been typing it when you had started writing, but you had posted the question before I finished.) I looked over the reviewer's comments. First of all, the reviewer seemed to be referring to the "Best Guy" poll when wondering if it should be included, not the Charapedia one, so I removed that sentence instead and put the one about the Charapedia poll back. Secondly, I don't completely understand what the issue with the merchandise is, but I think it may be regarding the fact that Amazon.com is not exactly a reliable source (as I've been told). So, I believe the reviewer asked us to find links to official merchandise from completely reliable sources. I also checked Naruto's article and it indeed does not contain any link to Amazon.com, and one of the links to merchandise has Viz Media as the publisher. Flowerpiep (talk) 20:09, 22 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: Also, what Sasuke's article mostly needs now is a prose review (since the image and source reviews have already been completed), right? Or a second source review and a second image review are also necessary (I'm asking this since I saw that Naruto's article has them)? Flowerpiep (talk) 20:37, 22 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think these are necessary. I don't remember Allen's FA needing a prose review. From what I get FAs need general reviews (prose, organization) source reviews and images reviews. Now that it appears the article is passing the three ones we might get a green light due to the number of supports. IDV already said the prose of the article is well done, mostly the one about "In Naruto" due to the touches we gave for newcomers. I think FA reviews tend to take a entire month to finish but we can ask here.Tintor2 (talk) 20:53, 22 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: I understand. Thank you for the explanation! Now I also think that we are definitely getting close to the promotion! :) Flowerpiep (talk) 21:15, 22 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
So as I asked User talk:PresN#Adivce needed (PresN tends to help me often), I understood what type of merchandising was needed and added three mentioned by reliable sources.Tintor2 (talk) 17:12, 23 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: Awesome! :D I also found this. I believe Crunchyroll is considered a reliable source since it is used in Naruto's article. Flowerpiep (talk) 17:55, 23 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: Also, I saw that you had italicised the publisher (Anime News Network) from the latest references related to merchandise. Still, the previous publishers written in the article were not italicised. So, should we italicise each one of the Anime News Network publishers and other similar publishers? Or should we leave all of them unitalicised? Flowerpiep (talk) 18:42, 23 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I think I did wrong. Better leave them unitalicised.Tintor2 (talk) 18:53, 23 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: Okay! Also, I realised that the last two references that you had added to the article (the 103th and 104th references) have the same URL. I believe this is the link which you intended to use for the second reference. Flowerpiep (talk) 01:04, 24 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Looks like today is the last of the review or something like that since a mod started commenting there.Tintor2 (talk) 13:14, 24 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: Yeah, but I'm worried about the last reviewer's comments. :/ Flowerpiep (talk) 19:09, 24 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Don't worry if it fails. Though it's sad that we got this big oppose in the last days. Still, I tried asking PresN and the project for some help.Tintor2 (talk) 23:08, 24 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: Indeed, I didn't think we would get an "oppose" so fast. I thought that we would always receive comments and suggestions first and that an "oppose" would have been given only if they hadn't been addressed properly. :/ Still, can an "oppose" turn into a "support" if we manage to achieve what the reviewer requested? Or is the "oppose" permanent after it is given? Furthermore, don't you think that Sasuke's article doesn't have enough images now? Flowerpiep (talk) 00:33, 25 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Yes they can. It happened to me when first trying to nominate D.Gray-man and a user thought I was doing original research. I proved he was wrong by reading a note from the manga's first volume so the user removed his oppose. Still in this the user hasn't replied to my questions yet. I tried recreating the reception section to find more generalization rather than what he said about wrong reception sections (See the Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 as an example). Also, keep up with your editing since my prose is quite weak. Since Sasuke's infobox already has his three recurring appearances I don't know what else to add. Nonfree images' limits tend to be limited to 4, while free images like Lowenthal's, Kusanagi's and the uchiwa's are free. I only removed the Susanoo and Quilin ones because they clashed with the trimmed text. Feel free to voice your opinion in the FA review at least to see if we can extend the time considering we are trying to revise the reception section.Tintor2 (talk) 01:38, 25 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: That’s good news. Maybe we can make the reviewer change their mind. Also, the reviewer said that there is little to maintain a reader's interest in every paragraph from the reception section. I don't exactly understand what this means. Was the reviewer referring to the fact that each paragraph should be organised better (for example, each paragraph should be about just one aspect regarding Sasuke, such as a paragraph about Sasuke in Part II, a paragraph about Sasuke in Boruto, a paragraph about Sasuke and Naruto and so on)? I believe the reception section already is organised mainly in this way. Regarding the images, after looking at Naruto's article (which contains images of the Naruto whirpools, the kitsune and narutomaki in the reception section), I thought that several images related to the character in a certain way (like the ones with the Eastern fan, the Qilin and the Susanoo in Sasuke's case) were obligatory for the reception section of a FA, and only now I understand that they are basically optional. Also, we have a limited time starting from now? Or, to be more specific, can the FAC discussion be closed by the mod at any time without first letting us finish everything we're currently working on in the article? Flowerpiep (talk) 03:01, 25 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I already requested if we can extend the time. Don't know if they'll accept even though I confirmed an experienced copyeditor will give it a look. Still, don't worry if it fails. FAs are too difficult to make. Even if it fails, we could take a break (if you are not interested) and focus on brining Mitsuki to GA or the sidestory about Sarada. I'm still not sure if The Last could turn into a GA though based on the guidebook's issue with ISBN.Tintor2 (talk) 00:11, 26 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: I hope they will accept your request after seeing that we truly want to do everything we can to turn the article into a FA. And yes, I knew that obtaining the FA status would be difficult, but everything was going so well before that "oppose". :/ If the article fails, I really want us to nominate it again since we worked a lot on it and I don't want our work to be for nothing. Of course, we could focus first on Mitsuki's article or the Naruto: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring article, and after that we could concentrate on Sasuke's article again and nominate it once more. Regarding The Last, indeed, the problem regarding the ISBN should be resloved before the article's nomination. Flowerpiep (talk) 03:15, 26 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: Another "oppose". -_- I honestly don't understand what the problem with those sentences from the popularity section is. In Naruto's article, such sentences can also be found: "he was noted as the twenty-ninth best character appearing in video games". Also, I believe the reception section really does look fine now. I made several new edits related to the prose and did everything I could when it comes to this aspect. The reviewer mentioned that the prose is not bad, so this doesn't seem to be a big problem anymore. The problem that remains in the last reviewer's eyes is that some sentences are not notable and some are not explained properly. Still, what is good is that the last reviewer seems to be willing to offer us some time to fix what they said. I will get back to editing later today. Flowerpiep (talk) 05:40, 26 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
With things going like this, I fear the nomination will fail. However, don't worry. Remember these nominations take too much. I already asked Mike if he could help you with a possible second nomination of Sasuke since he also assisted 1989 with the article of Naruto. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 16:30, 26 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: I revised the article based on every single comment each of the last two reviewers had made. Also, I really don't understand why Naruto's article had been allowed to contain many "A said B" sentences, but we had to change almost all of them. :/ The entire reception section from Naruto's article is based on such sentences. And thank you very much for asking that, but I still hope it won't fail. I really see no reasons for such a thing to happen, especially since I followed every piece of advice both reviewers had offered. Also, if the nomination failed, wouldn't both of us be the ones to make the nomination, just like the first time? You did a lot for this article, so you should also be a nominator. Flowerpiep (talk) 00:03, 27 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I agree but better don't come up with other stuff during arguments. They just take nowhere. Keep up the good work. I can't do much since prose is my weak point. I think I had to generalize like this when writing the Storm 2 article's reception, Lars Alexandersson (the guy from Tekken who appears in Storm 2) as well among others. Remember Sarada Uchiha's GA review? We had to rearrange the paragraphs to have each one focused on a different subject. I don't remember if we used "a said this" but generalizations seem more important nowadays.Tintor2 (talk) 00:23, 27 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: Indeed, I remember this. Yes, generalisations definitely are prioritised. Do you think that Sasuke's reception section should also be organised in another way? As I've previously said, I believe the critical response section already is organised in paragraphs which mainly cover just one topic (the first one - Sasuke's relationship with Naruto and Sakura; the second one - Sasuke in Part II; the third one - Sasuke in the finale of the original series; the fourth one - Sasuke in Boruto; the fifth one - the way Sasuke and Naruto complement each other). Do you think the organisation is good this way or should it be changed to something else? Also, thank you for the GIF, I love it! :) Flowerpiep (talk) 00:47, 27 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I think it's good in its current shape. When the nomination started, there was more "X said this" but set in a similar context. I tried searching for more reviews focused on Yuri Lowenthal's acting but I couldn't find anything. In contrast, when making Allen Walker#Critical response I managed to find information about his three voice actors as well as the character's inner conflict that has been remarked by many reviewers. Also, remember to ping Mike or other reviewers in the nomination to get faster responses.Tintor2 (talk) 00:55, 27 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I used the Template:Reply to when I replied to both reviewers. I will also try to find an interview like that. Flowerpiep (talk) 01:07, 27 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Mike gave me an advice. When copyediting we don't always have to fix grammar but also make the writing easier to understand. For example, I recently tried to explain who are the characters known as Kage in the Boruto section from Sasuke's article.Tintor2 (talk) 01:46, 27 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: I see. I also looked over the entire article once again and made an edit in which I explained a name and several others edits related to the prose. I don't see what else could be explained. I hope I didn't miss anything. Also, I forgot to use the reply template in my last comment (even though the comment was mainly about it XD). Sorry for that. Flowerpiep (talk) 02:44, 27 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
What do you think of the article's current prose? I mean we had no replies after all your edits. If you want, you can add it to Wikipedia:WikiProject Guild of Copy Editors/Requests and claim it's a FAC to get another copyedit. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 01:03, 1 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: I believe the prose is very good right now. After all, a lot of edits have been done in regard to this aspect lately. I hope both reviewers will reply soon considering that all issues listed by them have been solved. And even though the prose seems totally fine the way it is, I think another copyedit would always be nice. Do you also believe that I should make the copyedit request? Flowerpiep (talk) 01:25, 1 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Of course, but be clear in the article's state. FACs might need get faster copyedits.Tintor2 (talk) 01:35, 1 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: Thank you for making the request on my behalf.
Keep up the good work. Also, I would recommend you archiving stuff from your talk page so that things were better organized.Tintor2 (talk) 19:18, 2 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: Indeed, I really need to organise my talk page. Thank you for the suggestion. Also, do you think there is any problem that I used this sentence from Naruto's article as a model: "Naruto's character has received mostly positive critical response in printed and online publications."? I had to change the original lead sentence from the critical response section, and I didn't know what else I could have done to it. Now, it sounds like this: "Sasuke's character has received both praise and criticism in online and printed publications." Flowerpiep (talk) 19:33, 2 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: I sadly feel that the article will fail, and I find it completely unfair. I will expand more on this after it actually happens. What I wanted to say is that, since I feel like this, I really want to nominate the article again as soon as possible (after two weeks, from what I remember), since we worked so hard on it and I fully believe that it is in great shape exactly the way it is now (and, as it can be seen, many reviewers agree with this, and two of them explicitly disagreed with the reviewers who opposed). Will you nominate it alongside me once again? We should finish what we started. :) Flowerpiep (talk) 00:52, 4 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Considering you are doing exactly what the opposers said in regards to the prose, I believe it can pass in its current state actually. I would advise you to voice your opinions in a civilized way in Wikipedia talk:Featured article candidates. Besides, there are times the editors can't be commenting on every FAC so it might take time. My prose is pretty bad so I don't know how to help you in regards to this. I'll keep my Disqus avi of Sasuke until it becomes a FA. A deal.Tintor2 (talk) 01:23, 4 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Amanda C Miller[edit]

I found this interview about the Boruto English actors that might help expand the creation info of their characters. However, my understanding of what they are saying is really bad due to issues with my computer. Could you take a look and see if we can add something to the articles? Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 00:53, 17 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: Sure! Sadly, the voice actors are mostly talking about themselves and their lives throughout the video. I haven't heard them mention any creation info. When it comes to Boruto, they were mostly talking about how huge the franchise is and how glad they are to be able to take part in such an important project. I believe these are the only parts that can be added to the Wikipedia pages of the characters:
Amanda C. Miller said that on top of working for a legendary franchise, Boruto was her first title character. She also mentioned that voicing him is awesome, but it is also stressful since Boruto is Naruto's son (thus having a huge role in the story).
Robbie Daymond said that he is very honored to voice Mitsuki.
Cherami Leigh stated that she is honored and grateful to voice Sarada. She also said that while it is exciting to do that, she feels a lot of pressure because of how legendary the series is.

Boruto: Naruto the Movie[edit]

ProtoDrake decided to review the article Boruto: Naruto the Movie so let's keep up our eyes opened. Cheers ;D Tintor2 (talk) 15:35, 19 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: I'm glad that the reviewing process has begun! :) I'll be on the watch for the reviewer's comments, especially starting from tomorrow evening. Flowerpiep (talk) 21:37, 19 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Your GA nomination of Boruto: Naruto the Movie[edit]

The article Boruto: Naruto the Movie you nominated as a good article has passed ; see Talk:Boruto: Naruto the Movie for comments about the article. Well done! If the article has not already been on the main page as an "In the news" or "Did you know" item, you can nominate it to appear in Did you know. Message delivered by Legobot, on behalf of ProtoDrake -- ProtoDrake (talk) 16:41, 22 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for informing me! Flowerpiep (talk) 16:46, 22 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
It was team up like the series tends to tell XD Still, I wonder what you think about nominating Sasuke's article. The peer review is kind of dead.Tintor2 (talk) 21:13, 22 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: Yeah! =) Regarding Sasuke's article, I believe it's definitely ready to be nominated. We've been working on it for quite a while now and I don't see what else could be done in order to improve it. We've edited the article based on all comments from the peer review. Also, I think Sasuke's article is just as good as Naruto's. Flowerpiep (talk) 00:58, 23 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I closed the peer review but here it's kind of late to make the nomination. Feel free to do it later or I'll make it tomorrow. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 01:08, 23 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: Okay, I tried to make the nomination! Hope I did it well! We're now on the way to achieving your third FA article. :) Flowerpiep (talk) 13:11, 23 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Just got back from work. Still, don't worry if it fails. FA reviews can be very demanding.Tintor2 (talk) 16:20, 23 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: Yeah, I've seen that it is really difficult for an article to obtain the FA status. Even if it fails, we'll continue editing the article based on the FA reviewers' comments and we'll try to nominate it again after that. Flowerpiep (talk) 18:23, 23 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: Do you think that we should add "Tokyo" where the location of "Shueisha" is mentioned? Right now, when "Shueisha" is the publisher, only "Japan" appears as the location. Shouldn’t it rather be "Tokyo, Japan"? Flowerpiep (talk) 17:05, 24 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know if it's common information or not. I mean we have "San Francisco, California" but we don't mention the countries for Viz's releases.Tintor2 (talk) 17:19, 24 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: From what I understood after reading the reviewer's comment, we should put the city and the state when the location is in the United States. The city and the country should be mentioned when the location is outside the US. So, I think everywhere it should be "San Francisco, California" instead of "California, United States". Flowerpiep (talk) 02:44, 25 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Done.Tintor2 (talk) 17:38, 25 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Okay! :) Flowerpiep (talk) 20:37, 25 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

An idea[edit]

While I think we should focus on Sasuke's FA review, I have been wondering if we could create an article for the The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring. I mean we have multiple reviews about the volume and something about it's production. Also, I think that volume sold multiple units. I started thinking about that after checking the article Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 00:36, 29 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: Yes, definitely! Some time ago, I also wondered why Naruto: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring didn't have its own Wikipedia page despite the fact that it is really important to the Naruto story since it is Masashi Kishimoto's own work. Flowerpiep (talk) 17:48, 29 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Use this. Since my first language is Spanish I can translate well the Hobby Consolas review. I'll try to edit it later so feel free to edit it.Tintor2 (talk) 18:01, 29 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: Okay! :) How long should the plot summary be? Flowerpiep (talk) 20:20, 29 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Good question. I guess it should be quite shorter than the Boruto movie but longer than volume summaries. So avoid mentioning minor characters like Boruto Uzumaki who briefly appears. I guess two paragraphs would be enough.Tintor2 (talk) 20:48, 29 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I think I finished making the creation section. Feel free to write the plot whenever you want. Also, Sasuke's FAC got new comments so we gotta keep watching it. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 22:17, 29 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: Okay! I wrote the plot section, but it seems a little bit too long right now, so I will try to reduce it (even though I can't quite decide what not to include from there). Also, I will check Sasuke's FAC right now. Flowerpiep (talk) 23:56, 29 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
And created. By the way, in case you are interested, recently created articles can be given Did you know nominations in which you put a fact that might appeal to casual readers regarding the article. I can't do since I already did multiple did you know. However, since you contributed to the article, you can also make a nomination. I can't figure out a "hot did you know" so feel free to nominate it if you want.Tintor2 (talk) 00:33, 30 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: Thank you for informing me of this! =] I will make a nomination if I can think of a "did you know" fact regarding the article. Flowerpiep (talk) 04:10, 30 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Your FAC and location of publisher[edit]

Hey, after I gave you trouble (in your Sasuke FAC) about the locations of the publishers for the books I discovered this: FAC doesn't care if books have locations or not, but you must be consistent. So you can either put locations on all of them (if they can be found) or none of them, but not some of them. Hope that helps. Lingzhi ♦ (talk) 23:31, 1 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Lingzhi: Removed all the locations. Thanks for the comments in the FAC. Feel free to add more. A fellow user is going to do a source review but he said it might take some days.Tintor2 (talk) 00:59, 2 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Good luck. Lingzhi ♦ (talk) 01:01, 2 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Lingzhi: Hello! Thank you for informing me. As Tintor2 already said, all locations were removed. Flowerpiep (talk) 13:05, 2 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
A bit off topic but by any chance did you manage to get scans from The Last and Boruto's movie guidebooks. Considering the information I got about Boruto's facial design, I believe those scans might contain more about the older character designs of the Naruto characters as well as how Kishimoto designed the Boruto ones. I know a user who is skilled in Japanese but needs to check the scans well. Regards.Tintor2 (talk) 23:32, 5 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: Hey! Sadly, I do not have those scans. I tried to search for the guidebooks online but with no success. However, I managed to find several videos in which the guidebooks are unboxed and briefly presented. Despite this, the pages cannot be seen that clearly and the videos need to be paused, so I am not sure if they will be helpful. Nonetheless, these are the links to them (the first one is for The Last and the next ones are for Boruto): 1 2 3 4. Flowerpiep (talk) 00:49, 6 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
A shame. I think there is also an artbook released in 2015 but can't find any online.Tintor2 (talk) 01:00, 6 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Found that the artbook has an interview between Kishimoto and Avi Arad but there is not much information about Naruto.Tintor2 (talk) 01:19, 6 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: So now you found the artbook online, right? I also searched for the artbook and I managed to find it eventually. Besides that particular interview, it mainly consists of images drawn by Kishimoto. Still, right before the interview, there are also some pages with images which are accompanied by small texts. Flowerpiep (talk) 01:48, 6 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I only got the interview scans.Tintor2 (talk) 01:54, 6 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: So I literally have no idea how I ended up with the first link. XD I was sure I copied the right link (and I also had only one page from that site opened). Anyway, I apologise for the confusion. This is the correct link to where the scans were posted. Flowerpiep (talk) 02:18, 6 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Idea[edit]

@1989: I've got an idea. Pinging 1989 since he often helps with finding scans. This translator appears to have the scans of the movie guidebooks. If Kishimoto wrote information about the characters' designs like he did with Boruto's facial expressions in the same guidebook, then we could ask the writer to show us the scan (with page number needed) to see if TranquilHope can translate some parts. It would make Naruto's article as well Sasuke and in the biggest need, Mitsuki's feel more completed.Tintor2 (talk) 15:43, 6 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: That’s a very nice idea. And maybe those scans could also be useful for Sarada's article. Still, how can we get in touch with the translator? Flowerpiep (talk) 18:44, 6 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Here but for some reason I can't do it. Does tumblr requests you to create something to interact with others? Still, he/she isn't fond of requests so I guess we should be as nice as possible and just ask for a scan at a time.Tintor2 (talk) 20:07, 6 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: From what I've read here, it seems that questions can still be asked to a user without needing an account, but that user has to have their anonymous asks enabled. Flowerpiep (talk) 21:19, 6 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
How do we receive from Honkayusha's responses? I would advise you to write something like "Hello, I am a user from Wikipedia who is currently working on the characters articles (choose whoever you want first, Flowerpiep)...." and then once we receive the response if the scan is given, we'll ask Tranquilhope. Regards.Tintor2 (talk) 21:24, 6 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: Sure, I will try to send them an ask. After that, we'll have to check the user's page pretty often to see if they've answered. Still, I'm not very good at picking. XD Which character would you prefer first? I would go either for Sasuke since his article is still being reviewed (and thus any improvement would be good) or for Mitsuki as his article is the one that would need additions the most. Flowerpiep (talk) 22:02, 6 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
What character? I think Mitsuki is the one lacking the most of his creation. I don't think it might become a GA in its current state. However, as Naruto is a FA and (Sasuke might be one) the movie guidebook might contain information about their adult designs which could make the articles more solid.Tintor2 (talk) 00:49, 7 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: Okay, so we should try to receive the scans regarding Mitsuki first, but there is one problem. I don't think the user would be willing to help since they repeatedly stated that they are not accepting any requests. :/ Flowerpiep (talk) 02:15, 7 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: Good news! =] I tried to search the scans from the Boruto guidebook one more time and I think I found some of them! Here is the page which contains two scans with Sasuke and Naruto and some links to other pages with scans/translations. This is the main link from that page. (This is a link to a page that contains the original Japanese scans, but from what I see, some important scans about the creation of certain characters were sadly not included here.)

Flowerpiep (talk) 02:55, 7 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: I have even better news now. I think I managed to find the scans from The Last guidebook as well. I wanted to post the link to the page which contained several other links to Japanese scans from the guidebook, but it seems I wouldn't be allowed to do it. So, I will post the link to the main scans by myself.

This is the link to the entire guidebook.

Flowerpiep (talk) 03:21, 7 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: Oh, unfortunately, the links from above that were supposed to take us directly to the important scans from The Last guidebook seem to have expired soon after I had posted them. Despite this, what truly matters is that the link to the scanned guidebook itself remained unchanged (since all those images from above had been taken from those scanned pages). Once again, this is the link.

Flowerpiep (talk) 04:36, 7 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Buddy, you sure explored. Still, The Last Guidebook appears to many sketches. Will check it later.Tintor2 (talk) 10:28, 7 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: I always try my best to help. :] Flowerpiep (talk) 13:07, 8 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: I found another site with scans from the Boruto guidebook, but this site also contains the creation information regarding Sarada, Mitsuki and Boruto in the original Japanese form.

Flowerpiep (talk) 16:33, 8 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Nice. At least we have something for the three Boruto protagonists.Tintor2 (talk) 16:55, 8 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Added the info to Boruto, Sarada and Mitsuki. A shame the previous generation didn't have those sketches. Great work as usual though.Tintor2 (talk) 17:21, 8 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: Thank you! =] And yeah, I wish similar sketches had appeared for Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura in the Boruto guidebook as well. :/ Flowerpiep (talk) 20:40, 8 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Tranquilhope already translated The Last Sasuke. I added it to the design section so I wonder if you could copyedit it. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 22:04, 10 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: Done. =] Flowerpiep (talk) 14:16, 11 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The Last Naruto the Movie[edit]

Been working recently on the article The Last: Naruto the Movie. I have been expanding the lead, reception, among other stuff. Feel free to edit it if you are interested. Good work in Natsu's article too. :D Tintor2 (talk) 17:31, 12 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

From the Naruto wikia, I learned there are two other CD Drama, The Host: Naruto the CD and Even in a Future Day. However, I failed to find anything. By the way, do you remember if in that The Last guidebook there was an interview with Nana Mizuki (Hinata's VA)? It might help with adding page numbers to the reference. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 13:28, 13 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Found another interview with Takeuchi (Naruto's VA) here. The translator used this image saying it was within the Last Program? By any chance do you have it within your scans? It might be good for the article since Nana Mizuki already talks about Hinata's character. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 22:53, 13 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

And last but not least.

A Barnstar!
BarnSakura for excellent edits

I hereby award you the Anime and Manga BarnSakura for your excellent edits at Naruto, Boruto and Fairy Tail articles. You deserve it for your hard work. Tintor2 (talk) 22:53, 13 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: Hey! :D I deeply apologise for the belated reply! First of all, of course, I looked over the entire The Last article and made quite some edits. :) I spent a lot of time on it and this fact, along with the need to further edit Natsu's article, was the reason why I couldn't answer earlier. Regarding Natsu's article: Thank you very much! =] I dedicated a lot of time on its creation as well, especially when it came to the reception section. Now, several users further contributed to it, and all the article seems to lack is a main image (I really need to learn how to work with images here XD). Still, a user placed a note at the top of the article regarding the fact that some sources may be unreliable because of the fact that I had used some links to Amazon.com as references when it came to merchandise based on Natsu. Despite this, I saw several other articles about fictional characters in which links to Amazon.com were used for the same purpose, and none of those articles contained such warning notes. So, I am not sure whether that note is necessary, especially considering that I tried to make sure all sources were as reliable as possible. I was advised to find more accurate links to merchandise, but I really don't know where to look for them. Do you believe those links to Amazon.com should be removed or can be kept?

Regarding The Host: Naruto the CD and Even in a Future Day, I tried to obtain some information about them but sadly couldn't find anything at the moment. I will try to look again and will inform you if I find something.

Regarding the interview with Nana Mizuki: I looked over the guidebook from the link I had discovered some time ago and didn't seem to find such an interview in it. However, I found that the interview appeared in the Program Guide from The Last and managed to find this image as well. Still, this probably isn't of much help since it contains no page numbers and I also saw that you had already used it as a reference for that particular section from the article (you had probably found the same site as me since it is the page of the translator you had mentioned above).

Regarding the interview with Takeuchi: It seems that it appeared in the same place as the one with Nana Mizuki. I sadly do not have the scans and did not manage to find information on this subject either. However, I will look this up online one more time as well and will tell you in case I manage to obtain some information.

Thank you sooo much for the award!! :D I'm so glad to receive it!

Flowerpiep (talk) 06:14, 14 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know too much about Fairy Tail but I remember the first manga volume has a full body shot of Natsu. Once you grab the image and save it, just use the tool "Upload file" that can be seen in the left side of the monitor. When I made Allen Walker FA, I was asked to give his article a full body shot if possible and so I also did it with Yu Kanda and Lenalee Lee. Uploading images is quite simple. Hope this helps.Tintor2 (talk) 17:42, 14 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: Thank you for the information! I will try to find that particular image with Natsu from the first volume. Still, I don't know much about copyright. I thought I had to own the images which I'd like to add to a Wikipedia page. In reality, am I allowed to use pictures I find online? Flowerpiep (talk) 18:56, 14 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I'm pretty sure the full shot is in the actual cover. We can use copyrighted images as long as they have a purpose. The limit tends to be about 3 or 4 (see Sasuke's article as an example where we avoided using so many nonfree images by adding a collection of his three most famous forms in the manga and then added sketches). You can use pictures you can find online but when uploading it you must be credit to the actual source (for example Natsu's image would be "Fairy Tail's volume 1 by Hiro Mashima"). There are also free images like the one of his voice actors (Allen's article has the same image as both characters share the same English actors) or noncopyrighted material like the Japanese Fox used in Naruto Uzumaki's article. I'm not an expert but in wikicommons there are a lot of images. Also, lastly, we should use the original author when it comes to images rather than other people doing the work. For example, Naruto's articles used to have anime images until all the editors started searching for manga colored pictures since they are the first design. Hope this helps.Tintor2 (talk) 19:04, 14 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Found this and this. Hope this helps. When I upload pics, I first copy the image, cut it in Paint and then upload the part I need. Remember to give credit to the original company behind the manga (is it Kodansha right?) as well as Mashima. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 19:47, 14 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: Once again, thank you very much for the information! :D I learned a lot about uploading images here due to your help. I chose one of the pictures you found, took the part with Natsu and uploaded it. I hope I did it well! Also, yes, Kodansha is the Japanese publisher of the Fairy Tail manga, but I'm not sure where its name should be included. I eventually placed it at the source section (this is what I wrote there: "Fairy Tail's volume 1 written by Hiro Mashima and published by Kodansha"). Is this okay? Flowerpiep (talk) 21:18, 14 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: Also, I found the entire "The Last" Program Guidebook scanned. There seem to be no page numbers, but from what I see, the Guidebook might offer additional information about the characters and their creation, and it also contains several other interviews with the voice cast (including Sasuke and Sakura's voice actors). There also seems to be a section with comments from the staff regarding the movie. The Guidebook presents some merchandise based on the characters as well. This is the link. Flowerpiep (talk) 02:17, 15 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: I also tried to look online for information regarding The Host: Naruto the CD and Even in a Future Day once again, but I still couldn't find much. All I found that seems to be more acknowledgeable is this. Flowerpiep (talk) 04:05, 15 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, so there are two guidebooks to the movie. Now I get it. Still, I can't find it online. The book might have an isbn, among other stuff. I mean I can't even find it in Naruto's media article so I can't tell when it was released.Tintor2 (talk) 10:29, 15 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: Yes, it seems there are two guidebooks. I searched for details about the Program Guidebook online (especially its ISBN), but sadly I didn't find anything useful either. :/ Flowerpiep (talk) 23:47, 15 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not an expert in books but could this be ISBN?Tintor2 (talk) 16:49, 20 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: When I was checking The Last Program Guidebook in order to find a possible ISBN, I also saw that page and wondered if that was an ISBN. I don't really know much about this subject either, but from what I read online, ISBNs usually begin with 978 or 979, so this is why I disregarded that page. But maybe I didn't read all that was needed to be known about ISBNs. :/ Flowerpiep (talk) 00:01, 21 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: Hey! I saw the post regarding Mikio Ikemoto. All I managed to find about his origins is that he had been born in Kyoto Prefecture on January 13, 1977. This information was taken from the Japanese Wikipedia. I will look for more information and will tell you if I find any. Flowerpiep (talk) 00:45, 22 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Still Wikipedia itself is not a reliable sources, so we might have to navigate further in. Also, I think some Naruto articles need revisions. I haven't read Viz Media's version but I think they don't use macrons like the ones from Kaguya's last name or the Mangekyo Sharingan.Tintor2 (talk) 01:39, 22 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: Indeed, we should try to find a reliable source. I will announce you if I find one. Regarding Viz Media's version: I know a site which provides English translations for manga. To my knowledge, this site posted the scanned Viz Media translation for every Naruto and Naruto: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring chapter. In particular, I found these two pages: 1 2. They show that there are no macrons used in Viz Media's version, as you mentioned. Still, on the second page it can be seen that Viz Media translated Kaguya's last name as "Ohtsutsuki" rather than "Otsutsuki". Flowerpiep (talk) 02:14, 22 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: So, we should check the Naruto articles and remove all macrons (or at least the ones we talked about above), right? Flowerpiep (talk) 20:27, 22 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Oh yes. Still the macrons should be kept for nihongos templates.Tintor2 (talk) 20:47, 22 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The cast's adult forms[edit]

I've been wondering if this user at least has the scans of the Boruto movie where the former protagonists are now adults. However, when I tried asking there comes a message of error that I can't make one question. It might be necessary for both Naruto and Sasuke's articles since at least one of them is FA. Since requests are not allowed, I would ask at least just give us the scans so that then we can have Tranquilhope translate it. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 14:47, 4 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: Are you referring to the scans with the creation sketches of adult Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura created by Kishimoto for the Boruto movie? To my knowledge, such sketches weren't released, and the only sketches of characters from the original Naruto series that were released in the Boruto guidebook and were created by Kishimoto are those of adult Hinata and adult Konohamaru. The only sketches of adult Sasuke and Naruto released in the Boruto guidebook are those created by Studio Pierrot (at least from what I know). Or were you referring to other scans? Flowerpiep (talk) 20:28, 4 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Well, Kishimoto did create the adult forms of the main cast for chapter 700, the Gaiden and the Boruto film. I never heard that Pierrot created new designs (except for some for the first Naruto film where Sasuke and Sakura are wearing clothes for a cold weather).Tintor2 (talk) 20:39, 4 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: Indeed, of course Kishimoto created the adult froms of Sasuke, Naruto and Sakura, but it's just that I didn't think the creation sketches of these new designs were released. Also, I wasn't referring to designs created exclusively by Studio Pierrot, but to the ones used in the Boruto movie (which can be seen at the bottom of this page). Flowerpiep (talk) 21:15, 4 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I see. I those images about adult Naruto and adult Sasuke are Tetsuya Nishio adaptation Kishimoto. I thought that guidebook would have the original concept of the designs like the young adults designs featured in The Last guidebook as provided by Kishimoto.Tintor2 (talk) 21:59, 4 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: I also initially thought that this would be the case, but I don't think it is. As I said, to my knowledge, only adult Hinata and Konohamaru's creation sketches were released for the Boruto movie. I will look further into this to see if this really is the case. Flowerpiep (talk) 22:08, 4 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Also, I have been thinking about this, and I would like to post this message in Wikipedia talk:Featured article candidates:

Hi. I and Tintor2 nominated Sasuke Uchiha to become a FA. Everything had been going really well (for about a month) until a reviewer opposed because of a specific section from the article. The reviewer brought two other reviewers, and the other two had the same response as the first due to that one section. All of them listed comments in regard to how that particular section could be improved. The problem is that I fixed every single one of the issues they had pointed out and made even further edits in order to organise that section better. Despite this, only one of the three reviewers returned to see the new version of that section (which has been even more improved since then), and the reviewer agreed that the new version was much better and said that they wouldn't intervene if other reviewers agreed to support the article (which happened in our case, since we received 6 "supports" and 2 "passes" from the image and source reviews, so basically 8 "supports" in total). The reviewer had offered one more piece of advice, which I respected. Despite this, the reviewer still didn't remove their "oppose". Considering that their comments definitely sounded neutral in the end, shouldn't that "oppose" be regarded as "comments"? Also, the other two reviewers that opposed haven't returned yet, and I have no idea what to do now since, as stated above, all of their comments were addressed. Also, as mentioned above, the nomination already received 8 supports (including the two "passes" from the image and source reviews), and two reviewers explicitly disagreed with the reviewers who opposed because of that one section. So, shouldn't the reviewers return to check the new version of the article? Isn't an "oppose" meant to offer comments so that the article can be improved and that the reviewers return later to see if they were fixed, especially since the problems pointed out by the reviewers were related to just one section from the article? According to Wikipedia:Featured article candidates, "if nothing can be done in principle to address the objection, the coordinators may ignore it", and right now this seems to be the case for all three "opposes", since all comments coming from the three reviewers were immediately addressed.

Do you think it's all right? Or can you suggest some changes? It may be a little too much. Flowerpiep (talk) 22:10, 4 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Do it but try being as formal as possible. Some reviewers are kind of scary XD.Tintor2 (talk) 22:18, 4 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: I thought so. XD I tried to write the message as politely as I could, but I still wanted to add some facts (like this sentence: "if nothing can be done in principle to address the objection, the coordinators may ignore it"). Flowerpiep (talk) 23:28, 4 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Go for it.Tintor2 (talk) 00:42, 5 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
BTW..... What is this? XD Tintor2 (talk) 01:08, 5 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Went to ask to the Naruto wikia about if they know something regarding the characters' adult designs.Tintor2 (talk) 02:08, 5 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: Ah, I remember having seen that image before, but I have no idea what exactly it is. Maybe Kishimoto created it for a cover? By the way, here Sasuke kind of looks like Shino, but without his glasses. XD And it's very good that you asked about the adult designs, since I haven't found anything about this subject yet. Also, I posted the request here: Problem Regarding The FAC Process. You can add anything you'd like there. Flowerpiep (talk) 23:13, 5 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: So, now Mike is saying that they won't return to check the new version of the article, despite the fact that they already confirmed in a previous request (the one about extending the time) that they would come back after a few days to see the improvements? Flowerpiep (talk) 13:55, 6 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

As a lurker, I felt obliged to point out on that thread that the problem was not internal to the process itself, but external, as a perceived lack of support for improvement to FAC quality outside the process. I hope I helped. Lately, IRL, whenever I try to express my opinions I end up causing more trouble, and I hate to think that I did that here, but I had to go for it. Sasuke9031 (talk) 03:06, 6 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Sasuke9031: Hi. Thank you for announcing me. I really appreciate the fact that you contributed to the discussion. It's really good that you expressed your opinion, and of course you caused absolutely no trouble, so don't worry. :) Flowerpiep (talk) 16:50, 6 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Sasuke Uchiha (x2)[edit]

Hi! I really appreciate the fact that you decided to copy edit the article! Maybe this time it will finally meet every reviewer's expectations. Flowerpiep (talk) 14:50, 10 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Looks like the review was archived. Still, Baffle gab1978 hasn't finished the copyedit and we have to wait for at least two weeks before a renomination. I would advise you to seek help from Baffle in a coonimation similar to the Naruto article where 1989 got help from Mike Christie. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 00:30, 12 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: Yes, sadly it was. :/ I really want to still do my best to help the article become a FA, since I spent so much time on it (just like you did), and I don't want this to be for nothing. In my opinion, the article already is of FA quality. Still, I will try to talk to Baffle (thank you very much for the advice). Also, I know that nominators whose FACs did not pass cannot nominate any article as a FAC for two weeks, but can they nominate a GA in the meantime? Flowerpiep (talk) 01:51, 12 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

() I've finished the c/e and I'm sorry the review was closed prematurely. IMO it's not quite up to FA standards yet; have you thought about nominating it for A-class status? I don't think I have the patience to do a line-by-line review of the article though; I find editing the article directly more useful than explaining every change on talk pages. Cheers, Baffle gab1978 (talk) 02:35, 12 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Baffle gab1978: Thanks for the copyedit. Still, I never even touched an A article so I don't a model to follow. However, I don't see myself making significant contributions to Sasuke's article considering my poor prose.Tintor2 (talk) 10:32, 12 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you very much, Baffle_gab1978. Yes, sadly the review was closed too soon. They should have waited at least until the copy edit was finished. And I understand, there is absolutely no problem. What you already did to the article is highly appreciated. Flowerpiep (talk) 11:35, 12 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Any ideas?[edit]

Now that Sasuke's FAN was archived, do you have any ideas what to do before a second nomination? Mitsuki's article was copyedited alongside the Naruto Gaiden. We could nominate those for GA for a break. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 00:57, 14 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: Sure. I also already nominated Natsu's article for GA (since I did my best to make sure it reaches the GA requirements; it was not copy edited, but I tried to make the prose as correct as I could and organise the article). We should nominate both of those articles, and maybe we should start with Mitsuki's article since it was created first - or we could start with the Naruto Gaiden article, either one of them would be fine (since I think both of them are completely ready for becoming GAs). (Also, don't worry, even though I have already nominated Natsu's article, this won't affect my contribution to the other two articles during the GA reviews in absolutely any way - I will work just as much for both Mitsuki's article and the Naruto Gaiden article.) So, which one of the two articles do you believe we should start with? Flowerpiep (talk) 19:51, 14 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I decided to nominate Mitsuki's since it wasn't that big. Still, a GA nomination of "The Last" might be possible considering a user fixed the issue with the ISBN of the guidebook. Still, from what I heard, there is a limit to nominations.Tintor2 (talk) 21:19, 14 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: Yes, The Last article should also be nominated, especially now that the problem regarding the ISBN has been solved. Still, after we are done with Mitsuki's nomination, I believe we should nominate the Naruto Gaiden article first. Also, you mean there is a limit of GA nominations during a certain amount of time? If so, how many nominations would we be allowed to make? Flowerpiep (talk) 23:31, 14 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I decided to ask here.Tintor2 (talk) 23:39, 14 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
And I got the answer. There are no limits but the warnings about it because GAR might happen at the same time.Tintor2 (talk) 15:27, 15 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: I see. So, what do you think? Should we make more nominations at the same time (for example, should we also nominate the Naruto Gaiden article now)? Or should we first finish with Mitsuki's article and then nominate the Naruto Gaiden article (and then The Last article)? I think we should do one at a time, and if the review for Mitsuki's article doesn't start soon, we should also nominate the Naruto Gaiden article. Flowerpiep (talk) 20:55, 15 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I was thinking the same. The easiest way to get a GA review is being a GA reviewer and expect another review in response.Tintor2 (talk) 23:39, 15 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: Mitsuki's article has become a GA. Great teamwork, as usual! :D We should continue with the GA nominations. I believe Naruto: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring should be nominated next. Flowerpiep (talk) 17:16, 24 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, nominated. Did you see the comments from the anon regarding those Japanese sites translated to English? I tried looking the for the words Naruto there but I instead got to Japanese articles or the Naruto, Tokushima city.Tintor2 (talk) 17:53, 24 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: Yes, I have just seen the comments, but I couldn't find anything either. :/ Flowerpiep (talk) 03:45, 25 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring has also become a GA! :) Nice teamwork! Now, The Last: Naruto the Movie should also be nominated. Also, I was thinking that Boruto: Naruto Next Generations could become a GA in the future as well. Flowerpiep (talk) 11:28, 14 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hey there, good job so far on the Natsu Dragneel article. Do you want to exchange reviews? I have a few GANs that haven't been reviewed yet, and they're already a few months old. Thanks. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 03:56, 22 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Narutolovehinata5: Hello. Thank you! :) I tried to do my best with this article. Sure, but the only thing is that this would be my first GA review. If this is okay with you, I will be glad to do it. Flowerpiep (talk) 12:13, 22 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Sure thing, but if you have difficulty, you could ask for help from Tintor2. My current GANs are Nagi Yanagi, Sword Art Online, and ClariS. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 01:42, 23 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I see if I can review Sword Art Online properly Narutolovehinata5.Tintor2 (talk) 15:57, 23 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: Thank you for providing the review. @Narutolovehinata5: While Tintor2 is reviewing the article, I will try to learn more about what a GA reviewer has to look for in an article in order to try to review one of the two remaining articles. Flowerpiep (talk) 19:42, 23 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Possible aid[edit]

Hi there. Happy easter. I don't know if you are aware but I recently created the article Lavi (D.Gray-man). I know you aren't familiar with the series but I wonder if you check obvious grammar mistakes if possible. I also requested a copyedit in the guild but I would appreciate if you could revise it. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 23:50, 1 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: Hello! :) Thank you very much, Happy Easter as well! Of course, I have just finished revising the entire article. Also, indeed, I am not familiar with the series, so I suggest that you look over the article to make sure that all meanings remained the same (I tried to do that to the best of my ability).

Projects[edit]

Good work with the Naruto article and the new one from Fairy Tail. By the way, I requested support from other editors and they told me that the guidebook from The Last doesn't have an ISBN despite the image we found in Amazon. Feel free to nominate the movie by the way. I am aiming to nominate Lavi (D.Gray-man) once it is copyedited too. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 21:34, 14 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: Thank you. :) You did an awesome job with the Lavi (D.Gray-man) article as well! I see. Okay, I nominated the article. I hope the review will start soon. Flowerpiep (talk) 12:59, 15 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: And the article was promoted! :D Now, do you believe that Boruto: Naruto Next Generations should also be nominated? I think it could become a GA. Flowerpiep (talk) 20:04, 21 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Nice work. I guess Boruto NNN is okay since it was copyedited some months ago. Feel free to nominate it.Tintor2 (talk) 20:37, 21 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe it will be better if we can find the original issue of the magazine.Tintor2 (talk) 21:48, 21 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: I agree! Should I withdraw the nomination until we find the original issue of the magazine? Flowerpiep (talk) 21:55, 21 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not sure. I've just asked since the site uses Disqus. We can also use the Wikipedia:WikiProject Resource Exchange/Resource Request but I'm not sure if they might have it.Tintor2 (talk) 22:10, 21 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: From what I read, the interview seems to have appeared in this issue, but I am not fully sure. Flowerpiep (talk) 13:49, 22 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
It apparently is considering the focus on the Boruto chapter and date.Tintor2 (talk) 13:52, 22 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Have you noticed this? On May 2 an introduction to the article Naruto Uzumaki will be shown in Wikipedia's main page. Few articles get this treatment since achieving a FA can take a lot of work. Still, I wonder if there's something to correct or add there so that on May 2, the article will be on a nice state. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 21:29, 23 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: Nice! I am glad that it will appear on the main page! I looked over the text, and it seems all right. Still, if there is something to add/possibly improve, can I directly edit there? I'm asking this since everything about this seems pretty formal. Flowerpiep (talk) 21:26, 24 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Of course, remember there is no ownership in Wikipedia articles. Feel free to add or something else since you are already quite a skilled user.Tintor2 (talk) 21:59, 24 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: Thank you! :D Regarding the text, I was wondering if we should link every part of this sequence "anime, films, video games and original video animations" to the corresponding article from the Naruto franchise. At the moment, "anime" is linked to the general "Anime" Wikipedia page, and the same goes for "original video animations". Maybe we should link "anime" to "List of Naruto episodes", "films" to "Naruto#Films", video games to "List of Naruto video games", and "original video animations" to "Naruto#Original video animations", so that readers can access the exact articles that are connected to the Naruto Uzumaki article instead of general articles about these topics. Flowerpiep (talk) 20:56, 25 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I've been thinking, since we already got information about Naruto's The Last design as well as a Part II image in the infobox, shouldn't we replace the Part II image with a The Last. I was going to be bold but I can't find a good image. One with the scarf might help since it mentioned by Kishimoto too. It doesn't have to be an Kishimoto drawing since it is mostly seen in the anime. Also, be bold if the image fits the criteria nicely. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 19:12, 25 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: That's a nice idea! Given the reasons that you mentioned above, I agree that we should replace the image depicting Naruto's Part II design with a picture showing his look from The Last. And even though it doesn't have to be an image drawn by Kishimoto, I think it's better if we use a picture like this instead of one released by Studio Pierrot. I managed to find this picture drawn by Kishimoto. I believe it depicts Naruto's design pretty well, and Naruto is also wearing the scarf. What do you think about it? DYK for Natsu Dragneel[edit]

On 28 April 2018, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Natsu Dragneel, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the motion sickness of the manga character Natsu Dragneel was based on one of Fairy Tail author Hiro Mashima's friends? Boruto: Naruto Next Generations GAR[edit]

Shall I pop in the pose a few comments again? (ie review the article again?)  — Ssven2 Looking at you, kid 08:31, 30 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I'm pleased to inform you that I've begun reviewing the article Boruto: Naruto Next Generations you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. This process may take up to 7 days. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you might have during this period. Message delivered by Legobot, on behalf of Ssven2 -- Ssven2 (talk) 09:01, 30 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for announcing me! @Tintor2: Ssven2 will also review the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations article. :) Flowerpiep (talk) 09:50, 30 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The article Boruto: Naruto Next Generations you nominated as a good article has passed ; see Talk:Boruto: Naruto Next Generations for comments about the article. Well done! Thank you for announcing me! :D @Tintor2: Boruto: Naruto Next Generations has become a GA! :) Flowerpiep (talk) 09:03, 1 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Nice work :D Do you plan touching another franchise now considering you run out of articles to improve? Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 14:59, 1 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: Thank you! Hmm, I don't really know. I was thinking of looking over the older Naruto articles. Also, if you need assistance with any article, I will be more than willing to help. :) Flowerpiep (talk) 00:09, 2 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Now that I think about it, Hinata and Jiraiya's articles that have not become GA. Maybe a small copyedit plus more sources could help to improve them. If possible, this could lead to a Good Article Topic. Also, I've recently expanded the article Tsubasa Oozora and I've been wondering if you could bring it a brief copyedit. By the way, check Wikipedia's main page now. Naruto Uzumaki is featured there. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 00:15, 2 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: Of course, I will first look over Tsubasa Oozora's article. Afterwards, I will check Hinata and Jiraiya's articles. (It would be really nice if we could achieve the Good Article Topic eventually!) And yes, I saw the introduction to Naruto's article on the main page. I am really happy for this! :D Flowerpiep (talk) 21:29, 2 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: I have just finished revising Tsubasa's article. Great work with the article, by the way! :) Flowerpiep (talk) 21:58, 3 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks a lot. By the way, we have Hinata's redesign for The Last and Boruto info though right? That might help to expand her creation section.Tintor2 (talk) 22:35, 3 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: No problem! :D Yes, here is the information regarding her designs for The Last and Boruto: Naruto the Movie, respectively: 1 2. Flowerpiep (talk) 23:10, 3 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: I revised both Hinata and Jiraiya's articles. When it comes to Jiraiya's article, I think we need to find more information regarding his creation. Regarding Hinata's article, I am not sure if the "Description" section is needed. However, if it is kept, we definitely need to add several references to it. Also, the "Appearances" section needs more references as well. Flowerpiep (talk) 15:44, 9 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I tried adding some references to In Naruto but in my country they only released the first 46 volumes. I think missed some from the last sentences.Tintor2 (talk) 17:26, 9 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: Nice! The "Appearances" section is much better now. I will try to add some references as well. Flowerpiep (talk) 17:42, 9 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hinata and Jiraiya[edit]

I can't find more info about Jiraiya but if you check Youtube there are a lot of vids about Hinata's English actress here, here among others. Other than that, I don't know if we should put another nonfree images considering there are no compilations unlike Naruto and Sasuke's images. Feel free to nominate it to GA. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 17:20, 10 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: I watched the two videos and added a short part to the article based on the second video. I definitely think there are enough images when it comes to Hinata's article. I also believe the article is ready to achieve the GA status, so I nominated it. :D Regarding Jiraiya's article, I also tried to look for more information about his creation, but I couldn't find anything. However, I will keep searching since I really want the article to become a GA as well so that the Good Topic can be achieved. It will also be nice if we find one more picture that can be added to Jiraiya's article since it only contains the infobox image at the moment. Flowerpiep (talk) 23:49, 10 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: I looked for more information regarding what Kishimoto thinks about Jiraiya, and I managed to find two links. Due to them, I added one more paragraph to the "Creation and design" section. I also added two links regarding Jiraiya's voice actors to this section. I think the section is fine now. When it comes to the "Reception" section, I also added a short part and a few links to it. I think this one is fine as well. The section which I believe needs further work is the "Appearances" section - I'm referring to the "In Naruto" subsection. It definitely is too long compared with the other sections, and thus I believe we need to trim it. Flowerpiep (talk) 12:29, 11 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: The "Appearances" section looks very good now. :D I think the article is ready to achieve the GA status as well. Flowerpiep (talk) 20:35, 11 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: Also, I have an unrelated question. Shouldn't we add to Sakura's article an image showing her early design, just like the ones from both Sasuke and Naruto's articles? At the bottom of this link, there is an example of a picture that can be cropped and added. Flowerpiep (talk) 21:39, 11 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I see. Feel free to add it. From what I understand, the limit of nonfree images is four.Tintor2 (talk) 22:34, 11 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: Added. :] Flowerpiep (talk) 01:13, 12 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
By the way, have you considered working in the article Masashi Kishimoto? I mean, it has almost everything about his early life but it needs some touches before becoming a GA. I would recommend using Katsura Hoshino as an example to follow.Tintor2 (talk) 23:51, 16 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: Sure, I will try to look over the article, but a little later. Flowerpiep (talk) 22:16, 18 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Looks like the Jutsu article was deleted so we better remove some links and add the nihongo for the articles like Sarada's Sharingan.Tintor2 (talk) 22:03, 2 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: Hi! Indeed, I've already removed some links leading to another deleted page (the "Ninja World" article) a while ago from a few articles, but now I will look over those articles once again and other articles as well. And yes, we should also add the nihongo templates where they are needed. By the way, I haven't started working on Masashi Kishimoto's aritcle yet, but I will try to do that soon. Also, the GA review for Hinata's article has just started! :) Flowerpiep (talk) 15:44, 4 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, checking it but I guess the review will start this weekend based on the reviewer. Also, I haven't been trying to cleap the video game article Kazuya Mishima but I'm not sure if the prose (most notably the reception section) is okay. I requested a copyedit some days ago but I wonder if you could check the article for a brief copyedit. BTW, Tsubasa's article became GA. Thanks for first copyedit there. Regards.Tintor2 (talk) 21:34, 7 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: I'm really happy that I could help with Tsubasa's article! Congratulations for bringing it to GA status! And sure, I will look over the Kazuya Mishima article as well! Flowerpiep (talk) 01:22, 8 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: I have just finished the copy editing on Kazuya's article. :) As usual, I suggest you look over the article to make sure all meanings have remained the same. Flowerpiep (talk) 23:32, 9 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: Okay! Also, now we should nominate Jiraiya's article for GA in order to be able to achieve the Good Topic, right? Flowerpiep (talk) 22:42, 22 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Of course. Feel free to do it. We might have to clean up a bit the list though considering it has far more characters than the time it became FL.Tintor2 (talk) 23:48, 22 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: True. Also, I have just nominated the article. :) Flowerpiep (talk) 17:08, 23 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Article for Happy[edit]

I'm trying to see if we can make a character article for Happy from Fairy Tail. Of course, the subject won't be limited to his role in the debut series, but also his appearance in Edens Zero. Because of that lack of exclusivity, though, we'll need to come up with another unambiguous title besides Happy (Fairy Tail), and make sure it's the simplest we can afford to use, as per the guidelines of WP:NCDAB. But before any of that, the most important question is, does he have the notability to make the cut? User:SubZeroSilver (talk) 02:31, 1 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Alright, I've started working on a potential article beginning with a header and a reception section, and with the sources I've gathered (mostly from Natsu and Lucy's pages), I'm confident we can sustain a nice little page for Happy. Check out my sandbox. User:SubZeroSilver (talk) 14:54, 1 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@SubZeroSilver: Hi! Yes, I was also thinking that Happy should have his own article. Regarding the name, maybe we could use something like Happy the Cat (character). I can't think of any other titles at the moment, but I will try to come up with more options. I looked at the sandbox, and it is really nice! Great job! I will try to find more reviews in which Happy's character is analyzed in order for the "Reception" section to be a little longer. Also, I will check if I can find any information from Hiro Mashima about the creation of Happy. Flowerpiep (talk) 15:10, 1 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I'm resistant to using "Happy the Cat" since it's not really regarded as an official or widely used name. Happy (character) would be a good place to start, even though it could be less ambiguous, namely because there's no other article about a character singularly named "Happy". User:SubZeroSilver (talk) 15:24, 1 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@SubZeroSilver: Indeed. I added "the Cat" to the title since I thought that "Happy (character)" would not be clear enough. I will try to think of more options. Flowerpiep (talk) 15:35, 1 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
How about Happy (manga character)? Just linking to Happy (manga) redirects to Happy! (sports manga). User:SubZeroSilver (talk) 15:38, 1 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@SubZeroSilver: I think this option is really suitable! It seems clear enough and it would be fitting for both Fairy Tail and Edens Zero. Flowerpiep (talk) 15:44, 1 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know if the "Concept and creation" section will be terribly long, but I managed to fish some juicy info out of the afterwords so it wouldn't just be a single-sentence statement that Happy was once going to be named after a Norse god. I also included comments of one of Dragon Cry's producers that I felt had a good representation of his portrayal in media outside the manga. User:SubZeroSilver (talk) 16:31, 1 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@SubZeroSilver: I think the "Creation and conception" section already looks great! I tried to search for more information, but this is all I have managed to find so far:

- After being asked regarding the cast for a live action version of Fairy Tail, Mashima jokingly stated that the actor Johnny Depp could play Happy. The link.

- After being asked about his resemblance to the Fairy Tail characters, Mashima said he is sometimes similar to Happy. The link.

- When asked whether he would some day draw Happy as a human, Mashima commented that he felt Happy would not look good portrayed like this, adding that he would try to avoid this depiction. The link.

- Mashima stated his favorite part of the Fairy Tail anime is that he can see Happy alongside Natsu "move around". The link.

- At the New York Comic Con 2017, Mashima began the live-drawing with a sketch of Happy at the request of the audience. This is meant to show that Happy is a fan favorite. Still, this would probably fit better in the "Reception" section.

- Another link for the interview with the Dragon Cry producer.

I will try to find more information for this section, and then I will search for other reviews that also include Happy. Flowerpiep (talk) 21:41, 1 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hiro's comparison between himself and Happy looks good, not because that he simply says it, but because it shows how the character was created and developed for the series. So does Hiro's impressions of the anime, as he stated it let him see his characters in a new light. The rest falls more in line with trivia and jokes (especially the "human" bit), and your rationale for the Happy sketch kind of sounds like synthesis to me. And do we really need a second source for the same interview? User:SubZeroSilver (talk) 22:32, 1 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Alright, it's nearly complete. The only section that remains is the usual "other media" section. Throwing in info on that Happy no Daibōken spin-off is a must: [1]. User:SubZeroSilver (talk) 14:43, 4 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

It is done. Draft has been submitted for review. If it gets through, we can discuss other things such as an appropriate header image, and where to place Happy's article link in Template:Hiro Mashima (either by including an extra list called "Common elements", or using an "above" or "below" bar). User:SubZeroSilver (talk) 16:38, 4 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@SubZeroSilver: I apologise for the late reply. Regarding the second source, it is not really needed, but I decided to post everything I had found. Once again, I looked for more information, but I did not find much. This is all I gathered:

- A reviewer stated that Happy gained the ability to resist fish following his one-year training journey alongside Natsu. This link.

- Following his experience with the Rave Master series, Mashima realized that "when the mascot character [does not] talk, [it is] really difficult to work with the character"; as a result, he decided to portray Happy, the mascot character for the Fairy Tail series, as "very chatty". This link.

- Another link that mentions the spin-off dedicated to Happy. This link.

- Mechandise based on Happy has been released. This link.

Also, I think the article is really good! And it contains a lot of references, which is great. I am sure the draft will be accepted. And sure, we will discuss about those aspects once we get the green light.Flowerpiep (talk) 18:00, 4 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Holy cow, it's been accepted already I'll add the Rave Master bit and the merchandise. The rest can be ignored. User:SubZeroSilver (talk) 19:13, 4 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I feel I should add that in contrast to Natsu and Lucy, I don't think the Volume 1 image of Happy would be the best pick for a header image, due to his body being mostly obscured, and because he underwent a slightly more drastic design change than the others (I wouldn't add that statement either, it's a bit OS-ish). I'm eyeing the Volume 21 cover, but I don't know if that expression would be a totally suitable representation of his character either, since he looks more serious than normal. User:SubZeroSilver (talk) 19:30, 4 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@SubZeroSilver: I'm glad that it was accepted so fast! I also believe that the cover of the first volume is not really suitable for Happy's article. Indeed, the cover of volume 21 would have been really fitting if Happy hadn't had that facial expression, which is not characteristic of his usual self. How about the cover of this light novel? The light novel itself wasn't written by Mashima, but the images it cointains (including the cover) were drawn by him. Flowerpiep (talk) 20:32, 4 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Now to get this baby nominated for GA status. I know how to start the nomination, but how does one notify the animanga WikiProject? User:SubZeroSilver (talk) 13:33, 5 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@SubZeroSilver: I really like the chosen image! It depicts Happy really well. Actually, I have never notified the animanga WikiProject when nominating an article for GA until now, so I am not really sure. But, as it can be seen, it's not fully necessary. Flowerpiep (talk) 20:31, 5 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I think we should hold off on the nomination for now. Let's wait for Edens Zero to get more traction, because by my reckoning, this is still 90% "Fairy Tail Happy" as it stands. User:SubZeroSilver (talk) 20:56, 5 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@SubZeroSilver: I agree. Flowerpiep (talk) 13:06, 6 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Drew Coombs[edit]

There is something I found that might expand the article Dante (Devil May Cry) here but my listening is too bad. Could you lend me your ears a bit. Just the first 10 minutes would be enough if he talks about the game. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 00:12, 3 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

By the way, I found one interview about Jiraya's English actor here. Since it's audio only, I believe it's the best if you check it. Cheers. Also, nice work with the Frozen and Shrek characters.Tintor2 (talk) 17:47, 4 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: Hey! Sure, I listened for a while and this is what I heard:

When asked how he had received the job for Devil May Cry, Drew Coombs stated that what had happened was "pretty standard", with him having been the "best man" for the role among the ones who had auditioned. He stated that he is still "thrilled" for this chance despite him not having done this for a long time. He said this was his "first video game job" and commented that he had a lot of "fun" due to it. When asked if he had been offered a script for this job, he answered affirmatively. He mentioned that he had found out about Devil May Cry after being told that it was a "spin-off" to the game Resident Evil. He stated that he had not needed to be dressed in anything specific while playing the character. He further added that he had basic storyboards depicting sketches in front of him when his actions were videotaped. When asked if he recognized himself in the actions of his character from the game, he said that he could not think of anything in particular and stated that his main job was to "bring [Dante] alive" through his voice.

I will try to listen to more of the video (I will also try to relisten to what I have already listened in order to make sure everything I have written above is fully accurate).

Also, thank you for providing that interview! I listened to it as well and added some information from it to Jiraiya's article. And thank you very much for the kind words! :) Flowerpiep (talk) 21:28, 4 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I think that's enough for Coombs' work considering he only voiced him in one game. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 23:10, 4 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

List of Fairy Tail characters[edit]

I'm going to be honest: ever since the series ended, I've been bugged by the layout of the list of Fairy Tail characters (which is funny, since I was the one who came up with it). The organization of the Fairy Tail members looks pretty out-there, what with the single characters before going into character groupings below them; the line breaks caused by the use of Template:Ruby is visually unappealing; I'm feeling the way the sections are structured encourages an in-universe style; and most of all, there seems to be too much summary and not enough real-world coverage per section. And that's not accounting for the length. It feels like it's trying to emulate the list of Naruto characters, but doesn't have the coverage per section to really back it up.

Recently, I've been experimenting with two possible solutions, both of which could easily coincide with each other: make a separate article for the Fairy Tail guild itself, similar to articles such as the Order of the Phoenix and Dumbledore's Army; and/or we restructure the article to be like the character section for this article about The Irregular at Magic High School which, while not a separate character list, is still listed as "good". The problem is, the former suggestion was shot down long ago for not having enough coverage; and I'm not sure how the latter would go down as a full article, since I haven't seen any good or featured character list that uses it. But I have been going through reviews and scrounging up comments and impressions from critics that relate to the guild as a whole (and not simply each member individually), and I feel the format I mentioned would help better regulate the in-universe/real-world coverage. User:SubZeroSilver (talk) 00:24, 15 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@SubZeroSilver: Hey! I agree that both solutions would be really good, and they indeed could easily coexist. I feel that especially the first one would be a great choice, considering that the Fairy Tail guild basically is what the manga centers on (which can easily be deduced even from the title itself) and that you managed to find critical reviews in which the guild is viewed as a single unit. This would indeed encourage the real-world coverage. Flowerpiep (talk) 11:04, 18 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The draft I'm working on is shaping up, at least beyond where the FT guild itself is concerned. I've also been trying to bring certain sections up to date, while looking through other afterwords for additional coverage on their creation. I'm also anticipating the possibility of making an article for Zeref depending on how the final series is received; one thing I want to get out of the way is that I intend to simply name the article Zeref and not Zeref Dragneel, mainly on the grounds that his full name isn't exactly given away in related merchandise and media. Let's see if he gets a profile on an official anime website that changes that. User:SubZeroSilver (talk) 12:36, 18 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@SubZeroSilver: Nice! Indeed, I fully see why you would like to only make "Zeref" the name of the article, especially since this is what he is mostly known as in the story. Also, besides Zeref, I believe Erza and Gray could sustain their own articles as well. This way, all main protagonists and the main antagonist of the series would have articles dedicated to each of them. Flowerpiep (talk) 13:58, 18 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
My thoughts exactly. And since I'm planning to make a separate article for the guild, I'm getting the feeling that we keep the "main characters" listed on the main list to Natsu, Lucy, Happy, Gray, Erza, Wendy, and Carla. The last two especially because they're considered to be part of the "strongest team" in supplemental material, and because they're billed as main characters in the anime credits. The guild's subsection will be under a "supporting characters" page featuring the other guilds that contain secondary protagonists such as Blue Pegasus and Saber Tooth. Then the antagonists will follow, and the rest will be sorted into "other characters". User:SubZeroSilver (talk) 20:17, 18 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@SubZeroSilver: Indeed, Wendy and Carla have important roles and should definitely be listed as main characters as well. Even in the last chapter, they start the new mission alongside the main protagonists. Also, I believe arranging the page like this would be really great! It would make the entire page completely organised. Flowerpiep (talk) 00:39, 21 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your help as usual. There is a doubt I had in regards to another topic. Have you been reading the Boruto manga? Naruto becomes Kawaki's guardian so should the relatives be updated? I'm not sure if how you find it but I wanted to hear your opinion. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 23:08, 16 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: Hello! :) No problem! And I haven't really been following the Boruto manga (although I have read it from time to time), but I knew that Kawaki started living at Naruto's house. As for the "Relatives" section from Naruto's page, I don't really think that Kawaki could be classified as one of his relatives regardless of the fact that Naruto is now seen as his guardian. Christmas and help[edit]

Also, if possible could you help me with something? I found a podcast here where Papenbrook talks about the character Shirou Emiya which I have been working in. Could you give it a look to add a little bit about what the actor thinks of his character. Anyway, Merry Christmas. Hope you enjoy Holidays.Tintor2 (talk) 04:13, 25 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: Hello! I apologise for the really late reply. I was away for quite some time. Thank you very much for your kind wishes!! I wish you a belated Happy New Year. :)

Regarding the interview with Bryce Papenbrook, this is what I gathered from it:

Bryce Papenbrook said he had begun voicing Shirou in Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works. He stated that prior to this, Shirou had been voiced by another voice actor, Sam Riegel, whom he characterized as "awesome". Papenbrook felt that the story had taken a "different path in Unlimited Blade Works" and that the creators had "wanted a different take on Shirou". He said he loved that series director Tony Oliver had chosen him for Shirou's role, adding that he had been "really shocked and surprised to get cast in that role".

Papenbrook commented that since one cannot "pretell what parts are coming down the line", he had been "really excited to be part of that universe". He stated that he had been "familiar with Fate/stay night" and had known "how beautiful" and "how deep" the series was. Papenbrook said he also "knew how passionate Tony Oliver was for the series" since he had been "part of the show since the very beginning".

Papenbrook stated that "the show is so deep". He said "the tones" from Unlimited Blade Works are "slightly different" from the rest of the series and viewed this as "great". He added that he "really enjoyed" Fate/Zero; he felt that the creators had increased "the animation budget even further from there". Due to this, he jokingly stated that Unlimited Blade Works seemed to have an "unlimited budget". He described it as a "beautiful anime".

Papenbrook said that "just going through that journey with Tony Oliver" was one of his favorite aspects of working on the series. He stated that there had been moments when Oliver "would explain ... why Shirou was making a certain action or what had been happening surrounding Shirou". He commented that Oliver had "added so much detail" to Papenbrook's performance. Papenbrook enjoyed "watching it back after" and felt it was "really, really cool to actually see those things that [Oliver] described". He said Oliver had "really wanted" him to play Shirou in a "real" way and had wished to perceive "the feelings behind" Papenbrook's words. As a result, Papenbrook had to get himself into a "deep mindset". He mentioned that he "fully trusted [Oliver]" and that it had been "fun to go through that journey".

Papenbrook felt he "is still learning about the series" since there are "so many details". He stated that "Arthur's personality is so different from the personality that Shirou demonstrates" during the moments when he played him, adding that he did not know what happened to Shirou.

Papenbrook stated that he had initially watched the film Fate/stay night: Heaven's Feel in Japanese "at the Australian premiere" before he had been told that he would work on it. He said he had been "lucky enough to be at a conviction with the Japanese actors". He stated that "[there is] a moment in the movie" which had made "the entire crowd" laugh. He initially had not understood the reason behind their laughter, but they had explained it to him, and as a result he managed to understand that scene when he "watched it again in English". Since he had seen it in Japanese, he "understood how Shirou should act in that scene".

Papenbrook said he had watched "all of Fate/Zero" and "all of Unlimited Blade Works" before recording his scenes. He stated that "[it is] amazing when [you are] able to do that" since this way you "can understand the arc of the show". He commented that "even after watching" Fate/Zero once, he had not "fully" comprehended "what was happening". Flowerpiep (talk) 22:23, 9 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. That's a lot of useful stuff for the character. In the end, I'm kind of tired of nominating articles to GA so I just decided to clean up some articles. I hope you are having fun too.Tintor2 (talk) 00:12, 10 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Marinette Dupain-Cheng[edit]

On 26 January 2019, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Marinette Dupain-Cheng, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the superhero form of the fictional character Marinette Dupain-Cheng was based on a woman wearing a ladybug-themed T-shirt who once worked with the creator of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Marinette Dupain-Cheng. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Marinette Dupain-Cheng), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Shirou Emiya[edit]

Hi there. How are you doing after so long? I have been working on the Fate articles more and thought about the possibility of nominating Shirou Emiya to GA. However, due to its size I wonder if it needs some fixes so I requested a peer review following its copyedit. If you can provide comments or edits, I would be grateful. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 17:02, 21 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: Hello! :) Long time no talk! I apologise for the late reply, but I was away for a short period of time. I am doing fine, thank you for asking! And of course, I will look over the article tomorrow. Flowerpiep (talk) 23:07, 24 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: I have just finished revising the article entirely. Flowerpiep (talk) 01:22, 27 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks a lot. I'll if I can nominate in two weeks considering I'll be a bit busy next one (also considering the peer review didn't attract more responses).Tintor2 (talk) 15:30, 27 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: No problem! :) I definitely believe the article can become a GA. Good luck with the future GAN! Flowerpiep (talk) 21:25, 27 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Forgot to tell you. Shirou became a GA. Thanks for the support.Tintor2 (talk) 23:51, 16 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: I am glad to hear this! Congratulations! :) Flowerpiep (talk) 00:56, 17 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

A friendly offer to create a new page[edit]

Hello,

I notice you have given plenty of amazing information for a page I recently created, Kitbull. I want to offer you a great opportunity for a new companion page for another wiki page I created List of comic-based films directed by women. I want you to help me collect every television episode directed by women and based on a comic book. Along with the episode, they should include a reference proving it exists. At this time, I can not devote a large amount of time on this project, so I am inviting you to research and gather as many comic-based television episodes directed by women for this list. These TV episodes can be live action, animation, anime, etc., and can be released on any platform from cable, HBO, Netflix, etc. The guidlines that apply for this new page will include the TV show itself must be an adaptation of a comic book, comic strip, manga, and graphic novel, the female director of the episode could be anyone including The Wachowskis, and if the same director made other comic-based adaptations, they are acceptable too. I hope you accept this amazing offer as it could take a lot of time. Cardei012597 (talk) 22:41, 28 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Cardei012597: Hello! Thank you for the offer! :) I would be glad to help you with this project. I will try to find episodes that comply with the given description in the near future! Flowerpiep (talk) 16:27, 1 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for accepting. When you begin, it is probably best to start gathering the episodes below the page List of comic-based films directed by women and then moving them to its own page, so that this new page is complete. Cardei012597 (talk) 18:37, 1 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I started a draft page with a handful of episodes: Draft:List of comic-based television episodes directed by women. I hope we can make this the greatest list on wikipedia! Good luck! Cardei012597 (talk) 20:29, 1 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Cardei012597: No problem! And sure, I will try to start adding them later today. Flowerpiep (talk) 17:48, 17 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Good topic[edit]

@1989:

Congratulations everybody for making the Naruto good characters topic. I doubt there are other characters who could be given their own articles for now (maybe Kawaki in the future considering Ikemoto revealed stuff about his creation) so congrats. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 00:25, 7 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: I am really glad the Good Topic has been achieved! :) Congratulations as well! Flowerpiep (talk) 03:06, 13 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Kitbull[edit]

Hey there, Flowerpiep. How are things going with you? I happen to notice Pixar's latest animation short is 2D traditional. Since I love traditional animation, can I have the privilege to review this article? Do get back to me on this by pinging me. Thank you.  — Ssven2 Looking at you, kid 09:01, 7 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Also I've opened up a peer review for my next attempt at an FA. This article is about Kal Ho Naa Ho, a 2003 Indian Hindi film that has Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role. Please do have a look at the article and post your comments at the peer review, the link for which is right here. Thanks.  — Ssven2 Looking at you, kid 12:39, 7 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Ssven2: Hello! I apologise for the delayed reply. I'm fine, thank you for asking! :) And of course, I would really appreciate it if you reviewed the article! Regarding the peer review, I don't have much experience when it comes to FAs, but I will try to look over the article and tell you if I have any comments. Flowerpiep (talk) 14:15, 10 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Wrote some comments on the GAR. Do resolve them and the article is promoted.  — Ssven2 Looking at you, kid 17:09, 10 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Ssven2: Hey! I apologise for the delay. These are the comments/suggestions that I'd like to make regarding the aforementioned article:

- The reference from the lead section (the third reference from the article) and the reference from the infobox (the first three appearances of the first reference from the article) should be placed in the body of the article instead (for example, the reference for the budget is already placed in the body of the article as well, so it should be removed from the infobox).

- A small change: "He is not married, and that Priya is his childhood friend" -> "He is not married, and Priya is his childhood friend".

- Verbs such as "note" (including, of course, "notes", "noted", "noting") should generally not be used.

- A small change: "from Stardust" -> "of Stardust".

- I believe an English translation should be given for the names of the songs that are not already in English.

- A small change: "(US$3.9 millionin 2003)" -> "(US$3.9 million in 2003)".

- Another small change: "(US$18.8 millionin 2003)" -> "(US$18.8 million in 2003)".

- A citation should be placed immediately after every quote.

- A small change: "calling him" should be changed since the verb "called" is used just before this.

I hope these comments/suggestions will be of help! :) Flowerpiep (talk) 19:53, 17 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Your GA nomination of Kitbull[edit]

Hi there, I'm pleased to inform you that I've begun reviewing the article Kitbull you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. This process may take up to 7 days. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you might have during this period. Message delivered by Legobot, on behalf of Ssven2 -- Ssven2 (talk) 14:41, 10 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Your GA nomination of Kitbull[edit]

The article Kitbull you nominated as a good article has passed ; see Talk:Kitbull for comments about the article. Well done! If the article has not already been on the main page as an "In the news" or "Did you know" item, you can nominate it to appear in Did you know. Message delivered by Legobot, on behalf of Ssven2 -- Ssven2 (talk) 14:41, 11 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Nagato's article?[edit]

@1989: I have been thinking about how Nagato/Pain's appearances got a lot of reviews by writers as far as I can recall. IGN even listed him in an article. The Narutopedia even has a [[2]] that talks about the making of his design. However, the Naruto characters are a good topic so we should work carefully in a sandbox before giving him an article. What do you think guys?Tintor2 (talk) 15:40, 26 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

BTW, I'm leaving material here. Feel free to drop anything.Tintor2 (talk) 15:58, 26 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: Hello! I apologise for the delayed reply. Considering that reviewers have commented on his character and that there is information regarding his creation, an article about him could definitely be written. I will let you know if I find any useful links. Flowerpiep (talk) 21:57, 5 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Just expanded the Nagato sandbox. Feel free to write anything, correct or copyedit, etc. Tintor2 (talk) 03:43, 8 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: Hey! Long time no talk! I have finished looking over the article, and I have made several edits and some additions. Great job on the article! :) Also, I apologise for not offering any links, but the ones I found wouldn't have been that helpful. Most of them just ranked Nagato when it came to how powerful the characters from the series are. I can offer you some examples, if you'd like, but I'm not sure they will be very useful. Flowerpiep (talk) 23:56, 9 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. The articles that just say who character is stronger might count as fancruft so it's better to instead focus on the character himself.Tintor2 (talk) 01:57, 10 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: Hey! Sorry for the late reply. Unfortunately, I don't have any sources regarding Madara's creation at the moment. I'll let you know if I find any. Flowerpiep (talk) 00:55, 18 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

No prob. It kinda makes sense that the author did not reveal too much information about the last stuff that happened in the series other than the final fight between Naruto and Sasuke. BTW, Nagato was requested a copyedit by 1989. On other stuff I plan to nominate Atsushi Nakajima (Bungo Stray Dogs) to GA. If possible, could you give Atsushi a small look? Thankfully, the inuniverse information is not that big.Tintor2 (talk) 01:10, 18 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Sure, I will look over the article in the next few days. Flowerpiep (talk) 01:24, 18 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: I was just about to start editing the article, but a copy editor had already begun revising it. :) Regarding Nagato's article, I definitely believe it can be nominated for GA-status after the copy edit. Flowerpiep (talk) 10:11, 18 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, thanks anyway. I was wondering if the article was getting delayed. About Nagato's article, I requested 1989's advice and he said that maybe it would be better if it got a copyedit by the guild.Tintor2 (talk) 13:45, 18 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Kitbull[edit]

On 1 May 2019, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Kitbull, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Rosana Sullivan, director of the animated short Kitbull, said that she identified with the kitten in the film? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Kitbull. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Kitbull), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Favor needed[edit]

Lately, I've been working on two character articles, Shinya Kogami and Atsushi Nakajima (Bungo Stray Dogs) but I failed to find any information the English actors could provide (especially since these two are protagonists). I found an interview with Kogami's actor MCCollum here but I don't have good listening. Could you check if the actor says anything notable about Kogami? About Atsushi's article, I haven't found anything about his actor, Max Mittelman, though. It appears he has commented more on his role in a video game called Persona 5 instead. Anyways, happy editing and thanks for the help with Nagato's prose.Tintor2 (talk) 21:16, 16 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: Hi! Sorry for the delayed reply. This is all I heard about the character and the series containing him: McCollum stated that Psycho-Pass is "always a favorite" for fans. Regarding the character, McCollum said that "in terms of good guys, [it is] tough to get much more low-key than Kogami", describing him as calm. If you hear Kogami's name or the name of the series on more occasions during the interview, let me know so that I can check once again. Flowerpiep (talk) 16:31, 21 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. A bit of coverage from McCollum was enough.Tintor2 (talk) 20:03, 21 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Could you check the prose of Atsushi's article if possible one of these days? No need to rush though.Tintor2 (talk) 17:01, 25 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: Sure, but I see that the article is still being copy edited at the moment. I will try to look over the article soon after the copy edit is finished. Flowerpiep (talk) 22:05, 30 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: Hey! I wanted to let you know that I had finished revising Atsushi's article. Flowerpiep (talk) 01:58, 4 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Flowerpiep: Thanks. By the way, now we have a Madara Uchiha article too that created from a draft from a new user. Feel free to do anything with it.Tintor2 (talk) 16:20, 4 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Naruto novels[edit]

@1989: I have never read a Naruto light novel since they were never released in my country but do you guys we could transfer media list to sublist like "List of Naruto light novels"? Sadly, I can't provide summaries so I leave it up to you guys.Tintor2 (talk) 22:35, 29 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately, I'm not too familiar with the Naruto light novels either, so at the moment I can't be of much help when it comes to the summaries. Still, I believe such a list might be able to be created. I'll let you know if I can familiarise myself with this subject. Flowerpiep (talk) 01:24, 3 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Psycho-Pass: The Movie[edit]

I recently expanded the article Psycho-Pass: The Movie with production and reception information while also trimming the plot. If possible could you give it a look if have the time. I would appreciate it. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 22:08, 8 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: Hey! I apologise for the delayed reply. Of course, I will try to look over both articles (Psycho-Pass: The Movie and Obito Uchiha) in the next few days. Flowerpiep (talk) 00:56, 18 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks a lot as usual. The Psycho-Pass movie looks much better now.Tintor2 (talk) 16:19, 29 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: No problem! I'm glad I could help. Also, I was just about to begin revising the Obito Uchiha article, but it had already started being copy edited. :) Flowerpiep (talk) 03:38, 31 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I have sent you a note about a page you started[edit]

Hello, Flowerpiep

Thank you for creating Adrien Agreste (Zagtoon–Method Animation).

User:Rosguill, while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:

While there's no reason to have this redirect (and the various other similar ones) deleted, you really don't need to create redirects from every possible disambiguator to a term. I'd honestly be surprised if even half of these get used at all.

To reply, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Rosguill}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ .

Pixar SparkShort short film #4[edit]

Hello,

Since we had a great collaboration on Kitbull, I want to extend an invitation to help add more information for the fourth film in Pixar's "SparkShorts" program, Float. I started a small draft for it, which can be accessed from: Draft:Float (film). The short was released on Disney+ on November 12, 2019, instead of Youtube. I hope we can make this short into a Good Article, but at least bring it up to the quality for the Mainspace. Cardei012597 (talk) 01:01, 22 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! I would be glad to help! :) I will try to find more sources for the article in the next few days. Flowerpiep (talk) 04:58, 22 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I moved the page to the mainspace because it has enough citations and information to qualify and release on Disney+ is also well sourced. If you wish, you could submit the page for a possible GA review. It can be found at Float (film). Thank you for all of your help on these fantastic articles for Pixar shorts. Cardei012597 (talk) 05:23, 3 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Cardei012597: Hey! First of all, it was my pleasure! :) Secondly, I apologise for the fact that my contributions to the article were delayed. I will try to add more information to the "Reception" and "Development" sections in the following days. The article could definitely become a GA in the near future. In case you have free time[edit]

Long time no see. I made a bit of a clean up to article Jin Kazama. In case you have time, would you mind giving the prose a look. It has already been copyedited but sometimes it's better being seen again. It's kinda big so I tried trimming it as much as possible. Cheers. Have fun.Tintor2 (talk) 20:18, 10 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: Hi! Indeed, long time no talk! :) Sure, I will try to look over the article as soon as possible. Flowerpiep (talk) 04:11, 11 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry for editing it more. I happened to have access to more material about the character's design and response from scholars so I added more info. I won't touch it again.Tintor2 (talk) 16:30, 18 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Christmas[edit]

Tintor2 (talk) 21:27, 24 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: Thank you very much for the greetings! :D I also wish you a (slightly belated) Happy New Year! Flowerpiep (talk) 23:25, 2 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Jin Kazama became GA. Thanks to your contributions. It was quite a big article. By the way, I don't know when it's necessary but the Boruto manga reached 11 volumes. I'm not entirely sure when giving them their own chapter list. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 20:32, 14 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: Hello! I apologise for the very delayed reply. My pleasure! Congratulations for bringing the article to GA status! :) Regarding the volumes of the Boruto manga, I'm not too sure either. The current number of volumes might be enough considering that there are more than 10 volumes already; still, the creation of a separate article maybe should instead wait until the Boruto manga reaches 15 or 20 volumes. Flowerpiep (talk) 15:57, 3 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
BTW, if you have the time, cfould you check the prose of Takayuki Yagami? The article is kinda small so it might be easy. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 11:55, 4 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Yagami became GA. I recently cleaned up an old article, Vash the Stampede, so it needs some copyedit. Could you give it a look one of these days? I tried trimming the in-universe information as much as possible.Tintor2 (talk) 22:16, 10 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hi! Congratulations for the Takayuki Yagami article! Regarding the Vash the Stampede article, I was just about to continue looking over it, but I see that it had already been copy edited in the meantime. :) Flowerpiep (talk) 21:21, 23 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks still. Btw, look who made it to main page.Tintor2 (talk) 21:59, 23 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I saw! :D Awesome! Flowerpiep (talk) 12:01, 24 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there[edit]

How have you been doing? I hope you are okay with this social distancing. Thankfully, I do office stuff at home so I don't have to complain. I've been editing more gaming articles lately and thought about Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 considering I managed to play it. I still not aim to make it to GA but I wonder if you are interested in a collaboration like we used to. I still have to work in the reception section but for some reason I can't find too many sources for its development even though the director Hiroshi Matsuyama tends to talk a lot about his works (I gave him his own article thanks to the multiple games he worked in). In any case don't worry about it. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 17:36, 29 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! :) Long time no talk! I'm doing well, thank you for asking! I'm really glad to hear that you are okay during these difficult times. As you've probably seen, I took a break from editing for a while. However, I have recently made several edits and will try to collaborate with you on that article as well as help you with other requested revisions in the near future. Meanwhile, stay safe! Flowerpiep (talk) 02:23, 8 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't realize you replied to me. Sorry. By the way, a fellow editor is copyediitng Storm 4. Maybe it might be GA worthy once he is done with it. By the way, for some reason did you manage to find scans of Naruto's Exhibition Guidebook? I don't know what it has but I think that's where User:1989 got the infobox image of Naruto Uzumaki. Maybe it has another interview or commentary about the epilogue-Boruto designs of the cast. Sadly, not even in the movie guidebook there are sketches of them although we did add comments in regards to how Kishimoto designed Boruto, Sarada and Mitsuki. Cheers. I hope you manage to have fun during this distancinng.Tintor2 (talk) 22:26, 25 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
By the way, I forgot to tell you. I gave Kawaki his own article since I managed to find a lot of manga reviews including English, Spanish and even Italian reviewers discussing him. Even the CEO of CyberConnect2 commented on him.Tintor2 (talk) 19:43, 26 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Storm 4 was already copyedited. Wanna take a look at the article. I'm not sure about bringing it to GA so fast.Tintor2 (talk) 02:50, 30 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Copyediting saiyuki (manga)[edit]

Hi @Flowerpiep:, i'm so sorry if i disturb you, but can you copy edit Saiyuki (manga) article? It's been a while since I've been working on improving this article. The article is in need of very in-depth copyediting. I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you. M.A.LasTroniN910 (talk) 16:20, 10 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
