Getting technical
Thanks for the nice comments on my user talk. I'll go at each thing you said (let me know if I missed something). I'll be the first to admit that I know nothing about food history, but I'll do my best to help you =D. No Original Research is pretty much a hard and fast rule. That does not, however, cover research published in a notable way. So, if there is some journal coverage of your food-related subject area, you might be able to draw on that to creat an article. Before creating an article, though, be sure to search to make sure it's not already on Wikipedia. Seriously, search, search, search (alternate spellings too, don't forget to try google). I've seen a lot of great articles from new users get thrown to waste. I'd also suggest you check out Wikipedia:WikiProject Food and drink. The folks over there might have some useful guidance. Finally, you should sign all your talk comments by adding ~~~~ to the end of your statements. Best Regards, αChimp laudare 05:21, 29 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
