December 2018[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Meters. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Sauce, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. You cannot make a claim such as "world's oldest sauce" without reliable sources to support that claim, and I doubt very much that such sources exist. Meters (talk) 05:56, 31 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Reply[edit]

Hello! I do not recall removing your work. Can you provide me with an example so I can address it? Happy editing Red Director (talk) 15:20, 31 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

--source changed-- Hi friend,I tried to find the best source which could be find in Internet, please watch my new source and accept that (if it's possible),Thank you — Preceding unsigned comment added by Forest90 (talkcontribs) 11:00, January 1, 2019 (UTC)

User:Red Director does not think he or she had any interaction with you. He or she wants to know why you posted to their page. Meters (talk) 20:36, 2 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

January 2019[edit]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Sauce, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Per WP:BRD please discuss this on the article's talk page. Adding a new source for the recipe does not help. I'm concerned about your claim that his is the oldest sauce in the world. Meters (talk) 20:38, 2 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Meters, I write a new one of sauce with new sources in my sandbox, please watch my work with new sources,I hope this sources be reliable.for watch please open this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Forest90/sandbox

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for the calculation of the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. Wikipedia and copyright[edit]

Control copyright icon Hello Forest90, and welcome to Wikipedia. Your additions to Rock mechanics have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are PD or compatibly licensed) it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions, the help desk or the Teahouse before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps in Wikipedia:Translation#How to translate. See also Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Doug Weller talk 15:42, 12 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

We can't use reviews on Amazon as sources[edit]

I see you copied excerpts of Amazon reviews into an article. The problem is that Amazon picks the best comments so we have no idea what else the reviewer might have said as there's no context. You need to find and use the original reviews. Wikipedia has a huge learning curve and the more ambitious your edits, eg creating articles, the steeper it can be! Don't give up though. Orphaned non-free image File:Muslims Most Civilised, Yet Not Enough.jpg[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Muslims Most Civilised, Yet Not Enough.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:42, 20 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Draft:Israel F-16 Crash[edit]

DYK nomination of When the Moon Was Full[edit]

Hello! Your submission of When the Moon Was Full at the Did You Know nominations page has been reviewed, and some issues with it may need to be clarified. Please review the comment(s) underneath your nomination's entry and respond there as soon as possible. Thank you for contributing to Did You Know! Yoninah (talk) 13:46, 17 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Yoninah, I will review your comment soon. ThanksForest90 (talk) 13:51, 17 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Forest90, I don't see that you've made any edits to the article since you posted this here or a subsequent message on the nomination page. Are you still interested in pursuing this DYK? If so, we need to see some progress soon. BlueMoonset (talk) 12:57, 13 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hi BlueMoonset, I forgot this. Please excuse me. I will fix my DYK proposal right now. But i don't know where can I start to revise my DYK proposal. Can you help me?Forest90 (talk) 13:10, 13 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I'm afraid I don't have time just now. Perhaps Yoninah can help guide you? BlueMoonset (talk) 13:18, 13 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Yoninah. Can you help me to find How and Where could I start my article DYK review?Forest90 (talk) 13:38, 13 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Yoninah. What about my DYK? It's a few days that you didnt say anything about Hook and DYK.Forest90 (talk) 12:31, 13 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, since I am not allowed by DYK rules to review my own hook, I have put a red icon on it and called for another reviewer to look at it. Someone dropped by to comment on the hook, but so far we don't have an approval. Be patient. Yoninah (talk) 13:52, 13 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Your article was moved to the Draft space[edit]

I have moved your new article to Draft:Walid Fitaihi because it needs major work. The article needs to be brought to the standards listed at Wikipedia:Manual of Style and to Wikipedia:Neutral point of view. Please do not move it back to the article space without fixing the issues. - ZLEA Talk\Contribs 16:50, 17 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I will revise my ArticleForest90 (talk) 12:48, 19 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hi ZLEA Talk\Contribs. I revised my Article. Please review my article again and publish it. my article link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Walid_Fitaihi Forest90 (talk) 14:45, 20 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
If you feel that it is ready to be re-published, please request publication by adding {{subst:submit}} to the top of the page. This way multiple people can review it. - ZLEA Talk\Contribs 16:07, 20 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
ZLEA Talk\Contribs, I put {{subst:submit}} to top of the page. And I have another request. please help me to keep the Israel F-16 Crash Article. I revised this Article too and improved that. I used suitable sources and it's not fair that this Article be remove by AFD.Forest90 (talk) 16:22, 20 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I'm afraid my mind has been made about the current Israel F-16 Crash article. However, it has potential and I would be happy to help you improve it in your sandbox or the draft space.
The first step would be to find a better name for the article, as Israel F-16 Crash is not specific. There have been several Israeli F-16 crashes and shoot-downs since the Israeli Air Force began operating the type. - ZLEA Talk\Contribs 17:42, 20 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Ok ZLEA Talk\Contribs, Can you help me to remove my Article from AFD?
then...how can I move my article to draft or sandbox and revised it?Forest90 (talk) 18:04, 20 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I'm afraid I cannot remove the original article from AFD, as only an admin can do that. I can, however, create a new draft article with a new name and copy/paste the content from the original onto the new page. - ZLEA Talk\Contribs 18:17, 20 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
ZLEA Talk\Contribs Ok, I'll wait to see what will happen in my Article by AFD poll...thank'sForest90 (talk) 18:23, 20 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Draft:2018 Israeli F-16 shootdown[edit]

I've created a new draft called Draft:2018 Israeli F-16 shootdown using the content from the original Israel F-16 Crash page. I will help you bring the article to the mainspace. Discussion to improve the article will take place at Draft talk:2018 Israeli F-16 shootdown. - ZLEA Talk\Contribs 18:28, 20 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

ZLEA Talk\Contribs, thanks...Forest90 (talk) 18:33, 20 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

This isn't related to the subject, but an easier way to "ping" me is to use {{u|ZLEA}}, and to ping anyone else, just replace my username with their's. - ZLEA Talk\Contribs 18:43, 20 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I would like to note that the incident does not seem to qualify for its own article per Wikipedia:WikiProject Aviation/Aircraft accidents and incidents. However, the fact that this was the first time an Israeli aircraft was shot down since 1982 is significant, and at the very least this article's content should be a major section in February 2018 Israel–Syria incident. - ZLEA Talk\Contribs 18:44, 20 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hi ZLEA, Thank you for helping me... If you know any way which help my Article, please tell me to use itForest90 (talk) 12:23, 21 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
If you haven't already seen, Israel F-16 Crash has been deleted. I've created a redirect called 2018 Israeli F-16 shootdown which leads to February 2018 Israel–Syria incident. When the draft is ready, it will be either pasted onto the current redirect or merged into the latter page. - ZLEA Talk\Contribs 19:02, 22 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
ZLEA I rode your message. I saw my Article deleted. When you decided to nominate my Article for deletion, it was obvious my Article will be deleted. So ...it's not matter anymore...You achieved to you'r goal Forest90 (talk) 21:08, 30 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I was not the one who nominated your article for deletion, User:BilCat did that. My goal is to make Wikipedia better, and sometimes that means deleting articles that don't belong or need a re-write. I'll still help you get the article re-published, but there is no guarantee that it will be kept in article form. - ZLEA T\C 21:22, 30 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
ZLEA I knew that you were not the only one who like my Article be deleted, Bu after that you decide to delete my second Article Draft:Walid Fitaihi and it's not usual. So I know you decide help me. But my question is If I create a new Article, are you willing to delete it again?Forest90 (talk) 21:36, 30 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Moving an article to the draft space is not the same as deletion, in fact, it usually gives a poorly written article on a notable subject a chance to be improved instead of deleted. When you moved Israel F-16 Crash back to the mainspace, you invited BilCat and others like me to delete it, as it gave us the impression that you did not want to cooperate with us. I think that everyone would be happy if you show that you are willing to cooperate with us. - ZLEA T\C 22:08, 30 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
ZLEA please move Draft:Walid Fitaihi to wikipedia main space again.Forest90 (talk) 18:19, 31 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I'm afraid that it will have to go through AfC, just like every other draft. It takes time, so have patience. - ZLEA T\C 18:24, 31 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Forest90 Hi, I want to give you a small advice: Next time create an article in your user space for example (user:Forest90/"your article title") and make it well sourced then move it to the main space and don't wait for the review in AfC. It takes a lot of time to get reviewed. Thank you for your contributions. I will be happy to help you anytime.--SharabSalam (talk) 15:47, 12 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Copy Edit Complete[edit]

Walid Fitaihi[edit]

I see that you moved Walid Fitaihi back to the mainspace. I will not move it back to the draft space, but you should know that it still needs a lot of work. I would suggest that you request a copy edit. - ZLEA T\C 15:16, 6 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi ZLEA. Yes,I moved Walid Fitaihi Article on main space again. I spent a lot of time to create this Article and it's not fair that my Article dont be in main space on wikipedia. After you moved back my Article to draft space, I tried to fix the grammar mistake. Finally I decide to move my Article in main space because it's a good Article and many users could read it.Please don't start an obstinacy circle between me and yourself because I'm a normal user of wikipedia and only create some Article which think is good for reading by another user. I completely respect you and every opponent user. But I always create my Article by reliable sources and try to observe every wikipedia rules. Sometimes make a mistake in my Article like another user who create Article but I think deleting Article never help to an user to find how to improve his Article. Forest90 (talk) 16:07, 6 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I am not your opponent, nor is any other editor that makes contributions in good faith. Moving an article to a draft is not bad faith if it is because it is poorly written. - ZLEA T\C 17:16, 6 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hi forest90 thank you (again) for your contributions. I am really glad you are here. Please always assume good faith on other editors. There are some problems in that article and I will definitely be helping you in that article and other articles although my English isn't very good but I will try.––SharabSalam (talk) 16:17, 12 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi SharabSalam. Thank you for supporting me. Can you review my new Article and say your comment about my new work? Please, declare my grammar mistakes too. Thanks a lot.Forest90 (talk) 13:45, 14 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Forest90, Thank you for your contributions. The article notability seems fine. I have tried to fix some grammar mistakes. I also have found some confusing paragraphs that I will try to rewrite, but because of some internet connection issues I cant have access to the sources in that article. I will try to rewrite the paragraphs later. Here are some of these paragraphs "...but fear about the possibility of radicalization and violence, forced officials have tightened controls in Muslim areas in recent years" "Public demonstrations are rare in China, because the government is quickly pay to any demonstrate,". Could you rewrite these paragraph to make them more clear?. Thanks.--SharabSalam (talk) 21:58, 14 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Yes I will rewrite mentioned paragraphs. Thank you.Forest90 (talk) 07:17, 15 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Forest90, please note that there is a limit of two requests per editor at any one time. You've just added a third request, for Louisiana black church fires.

Please remove the third for now; you can submit it again when one of your earlier copyedit requests has been completed and archived. Thank you very much. BlueMoonset (talk) 15:49, 28 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

When the Moon Was Full[edit]

Hi Forest90, I've done what I can with the article but some of the quotations in 'Reception' and 'Awards' are rather garbled and I don't read Arabic so I can't correct them. Otherwise it should be fine. Cheers, Baffle☿gab 22:04, 2 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Baffle☿gab. Thank you for correcting the Article mistake. Removing All grammar mistake is too difficult because you were not the Article writer and don't know what was the writer meaning in some sentences. But thank you so much anyway and if you want to correct that mentioned sentences, please send me your question about them.Forest90 (talk) 20:44, 3 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
No problem; good luck with the article. Cheers, Baffle☿gab 21:38, 3 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, it appears that you tried to create a redirect at Night of the Full Moon film, but didn't do it correctly. I've fixed it now. For future reference, the correct redirect syntax is:

#REDIRECT [[target page name]]

You can check redirects with the Preview button before saving them. If you have created a working redirect, the preview will show the name of the target page alongside a bent arrow (or "Redirect to:" label in text mode). — Smjg (talk) 21:28, 5 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Smjg, Thank you and I found how can I create a redirect after that mistake, but thank you anyway.Forest90 (talk) 22:34, 5 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for When the Moon Was Full[edit]

On 22 May 2019, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article When the Moon Was Full, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that a 2019 Iranian drama tells the true story of Abdolhamid Rigi, a member of the Jundallah terrorist group who killed his wife on the orders of his brother? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/When the Moon Was Full. Twinkle[edit]

Nice to see that you are fighting vandalism. If you aren't already, you should try using Twinkle, a tool that allows users to quickly revert vandalism, and warn/report the vandal. - ZLEA T\C 12:27, 23 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi ZLEA T\C. Thanks for guidance. I will try your suggestion tool.Forest90 (talk) 12:54, 24 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
How is it work? Forest90 (talk) 14:25, 24 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
A "manual" can be found at Wikipedia:Twinkle/doc. The tools that are used for fighting vandalism are Rollback (for reverting vandalism), Warn (for warning users), and ARV (for reporting users if they continue to vandalize after a final warning). - ZLEA T\C 22:03, 24 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @ZLEA:. I have a question. If Twinkle list many Article for vandalism, I have to consider them as a vandalism or I have to check first?(maybe Twinkle made mistake in recognize processor). I hope you understand my question. For more explanations, all the article which Twinkle listed is really categorized as a vandalism or it's need to check by me first, then I send a message to who caused the vandal?Forest90 (talk) 18:27, 7 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not quite sure what you're asking. Are you patrolling recent changes to find vandalism? - ZLEA T\C 21:04, 7 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
After you offer me to use Twinkle for finding and stopping vandalism in Wikipedia, I have started to use it. In my tools row, left my screen, a new phrase added which is Filter recent changes. When I click on it, a new tab open and start to list the Article which considered as vandal by the Twinkle. My question is, all of this listed article is really vandal and I can act against who created vandal or I have to check, maybe the Twinkle had made a mistake in reorganization process?Forest90 (talk) 15:49, 8 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
The edits listed there are likely to be vandalism, but sometimes it's a false alarm. You do need to check the edit to see if it is really vandalism.
I would like to say that I do not use that tool often. I find it unnecessarily complicated, and I prefer Real-Time Recent Changes as it is much simpler. The only drawback is that it records every edit users make to Wikipedia, and while it tags some edits as possible vandalism, many edits it tags are not vandalism, and it does not tag less obvious cases.
Also, you don't warn the creator of the article that was vandalized, you warn the user that vandalized the page. I recommend that you take the counter-vandalism training program to get a better understanding of how to handle vandalism. You are off to a good start, though. - ZLEA T\C 21:46, 8 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello:

The copy edit you requested from the Guild of Copy Editors of the article Gunman attack in Tripoli 2019 has been completed.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

If you are able it would be worthwhile to go through the quotations in the Reactions section to make sure they have been correctly and that the citations are also correct. For example, there were several quotations attributed to ref name 'arab' I could not find in the cited text.
