Welcome!

Hello, Gabbyshoe, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, like CableLink, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for page creation, and may soon be deleted (if it hasn't already).

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! ηoian ‡orever ηew ‡rontiers 02:09, 29 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Could you please explain...

Your restoration of multiple errors to OK-JEK with this edit? The changes that I made in the preceding edit were all legitimate, and appropriate. The infobox fixes were all in accordance with the instructions for {{Infobox television}}. To pick a few:

  • |format= is not a valid parameter for this infobox.
  • Per the infobox instructions, where multiple names or other items are included in a field, {{plainlist}} should be used.
  • Flags should not be used in the infobox. MOS:INFOBOXFLAG specifically deals with this.
  • Per WP:OVERLINK, common words such as "minutes" should not be linked.
  • |first_run= should be The country or region where the show was first broadcast, not a date.
  • |first_aired= and |last_aired= should use {{Start date}} and {{End date}} respectively.
  • Both |website= and |production_website= were incorrectly formatted.

Other legitimate changes were:

  • Per WP:REDNOT, personal names should not be redlinked
  • "The idea and the name is based on online ojek which is GO-JEK" makes no sense in English. An appropriate maintenance tag was attached and should not have been removed. That itself normally warrants a warning.
  • The url after the "References" is not a reference and should be in the "External links" section until converted to a proper reference.

From your edit it seems that you may have issues with these edits. If you do it is appropriate to revert those, but if substantial legitimate edits have been made, and they were, you should not make a bulk reversion, especially with an ambiguous edit summary like "Revert back". That is inappropriate. --AussieLegend () 09:39, 4 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Manila Standard 1 Feb 1987.jpg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Manila Standard 1 Feb 1987.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. DMacks (talk) 16:05, 5 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The article Kilos Pronto has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unsourced article that fails WP:NTV and WP:GNG

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Speedy deletion nomination of DZYA

Tutok Trese moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Tutok Trese, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. A tag has been placed on Template:Morning shows in the Philippines requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion because it is an unused duplicate of another template, or a hard-coded instance of another template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.

If the template is not actually the same as the other template noted, please consider putting a note on the template's page explaining how this one is different so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{substituted}}</noinclude>).

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. 2019 US Banknote Contest

[edit]
US Banknote Contest
November-December 2019

There are an estimated 30,000 different varieties of United States banknotes, yet only a fraction of these are represented on Wikimedia Commons in the form of 2D scans. Additionally, Colonial America, the Confederate States, the Republic of Texas, multiple states and territories, communities, and private companies have issued banknotes that are in the public domain today but are absent from Commons.

In the months of November and December, WikiProject Numismatics will be running a cross-wiki upload-a-thon, the 2019 US Banknote Contest. The goal of the contest is to increase the number of US banknote images available to content creators on all Wikimedia projects. Participants will claim points for uploading and importing 2D scans of US banknotes, and at the end of the contest all will receive awards. Whether you want to claim the Gold Wiki or you just want to have fun, all are invited to participate.

If you do not want to receive invitations to future US Banknote Contests, follow the instructions here

Notice

The article Kape at Balita has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Appears to fail WP:NTV and WP:GNG. Tagged for notability since 2022

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
