Your userpage

[edit]

Hello, I'm not sure if you were using my page as a model to update, but since this is a replica of my userpage, I blanked it. Please do not restore it unless you remove my info. Thanks. --CutOffTies (talk) 16:02, 19 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I just hand't got around to finishing it by removing the irrelevant stuff and putting my stuff in. i just wanted to make sure that i had the template saved here so i could find it again and put my own tags and stuff in since i have no clue as to how to do that stuff.General Zukov (talk) 06:23, 20 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Bravo (applause) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. I agree that the material is relibly sourced and should go into the whole article, but I cannot support an entire section and you are dangerously close to violating 3RR. ZHurlihee (talk) 16:35, 27 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Wow - for some reason your font here is ridiculously small, like teeny tiny. Anyways, 3RR or not, I am going to fight to keep that material in as it is valid information. FYI - NEVER in the entire history of the United States has a Silver Star award been revoked. That is why this is such a hugly, big deal.  General Zukov  17:06, 27 July 2011 (UTC)

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 23:40, 26 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for trying to keep Wikipedia free of vandalism. However, one or more edits you labeled as vandalism , such as the edit at Wade Sanders, are not considered vandalism under Wikipedia guidelines. Wikipedia has a stricter definition of the word "vandalism" than common usage, and mislabeling edits as vandalism can discourage newer editors. Please read Wikipedia:NOTVAND for more information on what is and is not considered vandalism. Thank you.--Bbb23 (talk) 02:16, 30 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

OK, let's not be calling it "vandelism" any more. I understand the hyperbole, but the point has been made and addressed. Capiche? Gimmetoo (talk) 09:56, 2 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It did not seem to be addressed since the dude keeps on erasing the information. Unless you are privy to something that I am not. General Zukov  10:58, 2 August 2011 (UTC)

BLP warning

[edit]

stop This is your only warning. On Talk:Sondra Locke, you posted rude, offensive claims about the subject. WP:BLP applies to all parts of Wikipedia, including talk pages. Even one more edit of this type and you will be blocked. Qwyrxian (talk) 12:15, 3 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for disruptive editing. Your edits to various talk pages today have been filled with intolerance, invective, and complete disregard for Wikipedia's policies regarding collaborative editing. The final straw was this hate filled comment. I would suggest reading Wikipedia:Civility over the next 24 hours to ensure you don't run in to the same issues once the block expires. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Unless there are some revdel'ed edits, this editor hasn't made any edits since 30 minutes before Qwyrxian's warning. It seems somewhat less than ideal in this case to warn, then block 3 hours later with no intervening edits. Gimmetoo (talk) 16:49, 3 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Are you saying that it's not warranted to block someone who posts this, this, this, this, this, this, this, among other things? Nymf hideliho! 18:02, 3 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
As I noted on my talk page, the block was not for continued BLP violations after Qwyrxian's warning, it was for disruptive editing (which was noted in the block log and in my block message above). Jezebel'sPonyobons mots 18:21, 3 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, that's what you said. Nevertheless the user had been warned and had not edited since. You could easily have waited to see the editor's next edits. Gimmetoo (talk) 00:54, 4 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
WP:HORSEMEAT. Nymf hideliho! 05:47, 4 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Interesting. You didn't need to make that response. Whatever prompted you to do that? Gimmetoo (talk) 13:30, 4 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know. Perhaps I am of the opinion that people only looking to troll and socks of blocked users have no rights, whatsoever? Nymf hideliho! 13:39, 4 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, a sock of what user? Sounds more like you are lying and trying to push your POV then to do anything legitimate, Courcelles. Show us your proof or admit that you are just lying.  General Zukov  01:58, 16 August 2011 (UTC)
