Your Draft

[edit]

Information icon Hello, and thank you for your contributions. I noticed that you create an article that does not have enough sources or information to be a Wikipedia page. I've moved it over to the draft space, so you can add more references. When you are ready, you may move it make to the mainspace. Thank you, and please let me know if you have any questions. Deleting content from articles

[edit]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Alhambra and Ayyubid dynasty, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. If you think there is sourced content that you think should be removed from an article, please discuss it on the article's talk page first. Also, please keep in mind that Wikipedia is not a soapbox for promoting personal views and opinions. R Prazeres (talk) 18:36, 6 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Addditionally: I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of an article at Fall of Babylon and Negev Bedouin. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable. All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Persistent edit-warring (repeatedly reverting an article to your preferred version) may get you blocked from editing. Thank you. R Prazeres (talk) 19:10, 6 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I am aware of the three-revert rule and I didn’t violate it, you are the one who reverted me without writing any reason in the edit summary nor write anything in the article talks page, there wasn’t even an edit war, my contribution was there for four days but you erased it without giving any reason in the talks page or your edit summary Ibn Siwa (talk) 21:25, 6 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Read the policies carefully. They are very clear about not pushing your own views by reverting others and/or repeating your edits. In cases of dispute, let the status quo stand until the issue has been discussed and consensus reached. It's up to you to explain why your edits are justified, not up to other editors to satisfy you. So far you've made multiple controversial edits, so if you don't adopt a consensus-building approach you will likely be reverted again in the future. On the other hand, if your edits have merit and you re-explain them when needed, it's likely others will agree with you and the change will go ahead. Ibn Siwa, I think you would do well to spend some time with the WP:Verifiability not truth essay. In particular, let me call attention to its "nut shell", which opines that Editors may not add content solely because they believe it is true, nor delete content they believe to be untrue, unless they have verified beforehand with a reliable source. In short, do not remove cited material unless unless it is clearly WP:UNDUE & you have contravening citations. Peaceray (talk) 22:12, 6 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked as a sockpuppet

[edit]

Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
