Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of Days of our Lives characters (2000s), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Kate Roberts (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi there. I want to thank you for resizing the two Noah Newman images uploaded by Nk3play2, however, they're unsourced and depict improper use of non-free material, so they can't be used in the article. In addition, they're extremely low quality and therefore bring down the quality of the article. Luke Kleintank isn't really notable for the role (he only appeared in 7 episodes) and even though Hunter Allan was in the role for three years as the last child actor, they're were countless other child actors over the years who had just as long tenures, and we can't list images of all of them. Still, I wanted to thank you for your time and effort to resize the images, despite their uselessness. Creativity97 (TALK) 22:15, 9 October 2012 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (File:Sarah Aldrich-Victoria Newman YR.jpg)

Thanks for uploading File:Sarah Aldrich-Victoria Newman YR.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:11, 10 October 2012 (UTC)

Bleach Userbox

Hi there, I was just wondering if it was possible I could use the Userbox that says you're a fan of the Bleach series that you have on your userpage? As I haven't come across a userbox as good as that one yet. I would really appreciate it. Thanks. BlueStars83 (talk) 16:45, 12 October 2012 (UTC)

Request for comments/opinion

Hi Jester. I'm trying to come to a consensus at this discussion regarding the inclusion of some primetime dramas that have been called soaps/soap-like in the WP:SOAPS project. If you have a minute any opinions are greatly appreciated. Take care, Kelly Marie 0812 (talk) 02:10, 23 October 2012 (UTC)

Opinion needed

Hello Jester66. I was wondering, when you get a chance, if you could voice your opinion here please? Thanks! Creativity97 22:37, 5 November 2012 (UTC)

Will Horton

I noticed you sneaked the romances back into Will Horton's article. As you know you should provide edit summaries - then you could have made it clear you were adding trivial information to the infobox. I think it was intentional seeings as you restored the same amount of bytes as I removed.Rain the 1 12:01, 11 November 2012 (UTC)

Template discussion

Hey! I have started a discussion about soap opera article templates and the unneeded "Romance" section here at WP:Soaps that is of your interest, as an avid contributor to soap opera content on Wikipedia. Please share your thoughts! Arre 06:27, 12 November 2012 (UTC)

All My Children decade lists

Hello, Jester66. I am notifying you that I have redirected the 'All My Children' character-decade lists. They had no sources and are not acceptable for Wikipedia currently. They should either be worked upon in a sandbox or be worked on heavily with an ~Under Construction~ template, which it wasn't. I am not discouraging you to discontinue this project, but I advise you to relocate them to a sandbox. Creativity97 and myself had always worked upon The Young and the Restless character-decade lists for a long time before publishing them, which I strongly recommend you doing too. The only page I have kept is the 1970's list, because it has two sources although is still in no condition to be an article in its current state. Thanks! Happy editing! Infobox discussion

Hi - I started a discussion here on the recent infobox changes. I know we've been testing it out but the edit wars are starting switching back and forth between the boxes, so I'm hoping we might be able to come to a quick consensus? I've also started this sandbox, just an IMO version of what we could use. Let me know what you think! Kelly Marie 0812 (talk) 06:57, 21 November 2012 (UTC)

Hi there. I see in this article's infobox you keep saying an "unnamed actor" portrayed the role as a ghost in 2010. Did Tammin Sursok not reprise the role as a ghost to Victor Newman on December 23, 2010? I didn't watch the show at the time so I'm not aware. Just curious. Notables MUST have sources

Your recent edit to the article for Manasquan, New Jersey added a commented out entry for Andrew Trischitta as a notable, pending the addition of a source. Per WP:LISTPEOPLE, notablesrequire articles and sources establishing a connection to the place. There is no Wikipedia article for Andrew Trischitta nor are there any sources establishing a nexus to Manasaquan. Reinsert the entry here only with the required sources. A tag has been placed on File:Andrew-Trischitta-Jack Manning OLTL.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. reddogsix (talk) 03:11, 18 May 2013 (UTC)

Hey, Jester, if you haven't already, though I also cited it at the JR Chandler article after you significantly reduced that lead, read WP:LEAD. The lead is supposed to summarize the article. That's why I reverted you at the Bianca Montgomery article. You left that lead very inadequate and moved the text to an area where it became somewhat redundant. While a one-sentence lead may be suitable for a stub article, or an article similar to a stub, it is nowhere close to being suitable for an article the size of the Bianca Montgomery article. There is even a tag for a lead that is too short, just like there is one for a lead that is too long. Someone would have eventually tagged the lead you created for the Bianca Montgomery article as "too short," if it had remained as the lead without significant expansion. As for a lead that is too long, a lead is only too long if it unnecessarily exceeds four paragraphs or is longer or almost longer than the lower body of the article. Again, read WP:LEAD. Soap opera episode counts

Hello, Jester. I would just like to notify you that we update the episode counts for U.S. soap operas (Y&R, B&B, GH and Days) at the end of each week, on Fridays. This was the result of a consensus over a year ago to end disputes. So, if you're going to update episode counts, please only do so at the end of each week on Friday. Thanks!
