Cleanup Templates

[edit]

I noticed that you recently applied an improperly formatted cleanup template. I have fixed the template, but felt I should tell you that it needed to be replaced. You can find a list of properly formatted cleanup templates here. Please note that it is never appropriate to substitute a cleanup tag.

Thank you very much for your contributions to Wikipedia. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Alphachimp talk 22:00, 10 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

re:Clean-up Template

[edit]

Thanks. but I'm not sure how I improperly used the template? I got it on the Wikipedia template page, and thus, apparently incorrectly, assumed that it was properly formatted. Sorry- I submitted several "clean up" templates today, and am not sure which you are referring to. Laura. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Laurajunedziuban (talkcontribs)

No worries. I'm not trying to chide you, I'm just telling you what the correct version is. I am refering to these 2 edits. As you probably already know, cleanup is tagged as {{cleanup}}. Regards, Alphachimp talk 23:03, 10 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
By the way, let me take the opportunity to welcome you to Wikipedia! Feel free to ask me any questions (like you did). Alphachimp talk 23:05, 10 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

re:Question

[edit]
I think that you did the right thing. It's good that you're sensitive about "deleting" their edits (a lot of people wouldn't take that too kindly, but those edits appeared to be copied, not OR), but realize that they can be always "reverted" from the page history. The article clearly violated WP:NOR. So yeah, you were fine. By the way, please sign your comments using ~~~~. Regards,Alphachimp talk 23:41, 10 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Another Question

[edit]

Can you make any other suggestions as to how to fix this article? It seems that others have also suggested this, but it has not happened? I'm not sure the best way to start on this. Laura June 15:12, 11 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I checked out the article. A huge section was copyvio from here. I am removing the offending sections. As it is right now, the article really confuses me. I would suggest that someone rewrite the article from a WP:NPOV that is a little more open and available to people that aren't critics.
Why do you want to split the article? Alphachimp talk 01:08, 12 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

re:Split

[edit]
I guess I removed all of that with my little copyvio edit. By the way, you should sign your comments in talk with ~~~~. Regards, Alphachimp talk 06:36, 12 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:19 profile 2000.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:19 profile 2000.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 14:06, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
