Request reason:

Dear Wikipedia Administrator, I am writing to appeal my recent block from Wikipedia and to express my sincere regret for the promotional material I posted. I fully understand the importance of maintaining the integrity and neutrality of Wikipedia and the negative impact that promotional content can have on the platform. I want to assure you that I have learned from my mistake and am committed to being a responsible and constructive contributor to Wikipedia in the future. I acknowledge that my previous contributions did not align with Wikipedia's guidelines, and I deeply regret any disruption they may have caused. To demonstrate my commitment to responsible editing, I would like to provide you with examples of the useful contributions I intend to make using my Wikipedia account: Content Expansion: I will focus on expanding existing articles with well-sourced and relevant information, adding citations, and ensuring that the content is accurate, balanced, and encyclopedic in nature. Citation and Reference Improvement: I will actively participate in Wikipedia's efforts to improve the quality of references and citations on articles, helping to replace unreliable sources with reliable ones and identifying and rectifying citation issues. Article Cleanup: I will contribute to Wikipedia's ongoing efforts to clean up articles that have neutrality, style, or verifiability issues, striving to maintain a consistent and encyclopedic tone throughout. New Article Creation: I will propose new articles on notable topics that currently lack representation on Wikipedia, adhering to Wikipedia's notability guidelines and providing well-researched and well-cited content. Vandalism Reversion: I will actively monitor recent changes and help revert any vandalism or non-constructive edits promptly, contributing to the overall health of Wikipedia. I am committed to following Wikipedia's policies and guidelines diligently, including those related to verifiability, neutrality, reliable sourcing, and conflict of interest. I understand that my previous actions were in violation of these principles and have led to my block. I assure you that I have learned from this experience and will be a responsible and constructive editor moving forward. I kindly request that you consider lifting my block, allowing me the opportunity to contribute positively to Wikipedia once again. I am genuinely enthusiastic about helping to build and maintain this valuable resource and will do so with the utmost integrity and respect for Wikipedia's community standards. Thank you for taking the time to consider my appeal. I look forward to your response and the possibility of resuming my contributions to Wikipedia. I also intend to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia that are unrelated to the subject of my promotion such as contributing to my grandfathers wikipedia page who was a famous basketball player in Israel.

Accept reason:

I've renamed your account as requested, and have accepted your unblock request. I trust it's fully agreed that there'll be no more promotional editing, and that any resumption of such may quickly lead to reversion of the unblock? Welcome back to the project! A quick footnote: please take a look at this page before editing the page on your grandfather, and consider whether you might prefer to use the {{request edit}} process to make changes to that page (for the record, I don't edit pages about my grandfather or other relatives). Thanks, Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 09:08, 29 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
