Malpighiaceae conflict[edit]

Hi MICHmalpighs,

Thanks again for all of your contributions. After looking at the weevil article and considering a few different options, it seems to me that the best plan is to change the Rhynchophora page (which currently is just a redirect to Weevil) to the article on the plant genus. At the top, add {{For|the weevil genus bearing the same name|Weevil}}. This will provide a link to the weevil page.

To get to the actual Rhynchophora page and avoid the redirect currently there (to Weevil), use this link.

Interestingly, the French Wikipedia has a disambiguation page, but it seems a bit useless given that there's only one article that it links to. See fr:Rhynchophora.

Feel free to contact me with any additional questions. Thanks again for your contributions, -ReuvenkT C 08:08, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for October 3[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Hiptage, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Calyx and Samaras (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
