Happy Independence Day![edit]

As you are a nice Wikipedian, I just wanted to wish you a happy Independence Day! And if you are not an American, then have a happy day and a wonderful weekend anyway!  :) Your friend and colleague, --Happy Independence Day! Le Grand Roi des CitrouillesTally-ho! 03:59, 5 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I see on The Highlands talk page that you have added information based on a book Louisville Survey, East Report. Do you still have the book? The article needs references and I was hoping you could {{cite book}} to improve the page. —Ost (talk) 21:44, 2 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Air France Robbery (1967)[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Air France Robbery (1967), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

There are no sources for the contents of this article. And by itself, having such detailed information about some robbery where nobody ever got prosecuted is incoherent.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Burkesville ties?[edit]

Nice picture of the courthouse in my hometown of Burkesville, Kentucky. What's your connection? - Draeco (talk) 01:53, 22 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Marsh was trying to take pictures of all KY courthouses. He's retired from Wikipedia, so he will not be answering you, I'm afraid.--King Bedford I Seek his grace 04:18, 22 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion[edit]

Several years ago, you were involved in a deletion review on Directional Michigan. Here is the original discussion. A new proposal for deletion has come up and you are invited to participate here.

This note is being posted on the talk pages of everyone involved in that discussion that still has an active account. Feel free to express your opions for or against deletion as you see fit.--Paul McDonald (talk) 03:38, 23 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Respect agenda has been proposed for deletion. The proposed-deletion notice added to the article should explain why.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

The article D-Link G604T Network Adaptor has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

There is no verifiability, its all original research and its not a notable product. Find at least one neutral review, or really this article should go.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

a heads-up[edit]

You closed an {{afd}} on Allahdad Bohyo and about six months later someone
started an article entitled AllahDad Bohyo.

I was curious as to the extent it is a recreation of the deleted article.

Anyhow, I thought I would let you know. Geo Swan (talk) 01:19, 6 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
